Kethy-chan: Given that people have been jumping on the ‘I hate ToraDora bandwagon because Taiga is an abusive bitch’, this is NOTHING. Especially given that people are already gaining Taiga-hate for her calling Ryuuji a dog… or for taking advantage of him, or for thinking that she’s a psychotic bitch.

I was reading the comments for this post and I just wanted to point out that it’s odd how anal you’re being about the use of someone’s words. No offense (and I do mean, no offense), but why be so sticky about it? Everyone understood what Kurogane meant when he said what he said… especially if you watched the episode… (lol).
Conclusion: let’s chill with overly analyzing anime, ok? They’re JUST anime…

Oh and doesn’t anyone think that Ruuyji is the FIRST deserving man in terms of harem??? He’s a GREAT guy! I love him! If I was a girl-anime-charact., I’d love him too, regardless of how many girls liked him!

Kurogane: I’d suggest avoiding the use of ‘dependency’ in this case then – yes, she does lean on Ryuuji, but ‘dependency’ means she can’t get ANYTHING done without him or requires his emotional support in order to continue living. Being able to depend on someone and dependency have two different meanings – the latter is somewhat unhealthy and negative, while the former just means that you can trust them and rely on them to back you up. Now, if you’d said that she’d become closer to Ryuuji, I could accept that statement just fine – that’s why she tried what she did this episode, after all.

PassingGas: If they’re following the novel sources, there’ll be a long conversation which will explain/deal with/handle those ’spoilers’ that you hinted at.

The romantic developments and the awesome are the singular reason why I am watching this show, and they really don’t disappoint…

I’ve read spoilers for the later volumes, and they are indeed awesome. Let’s hope JC Staff can actually be faithful to the original work for once… >_>

When a girl screams to her classmates “Don’t touch him, he’s mine!”, then bursting into uncontrolled crying while crouched protectively over him, what are you as a classmate to conclude with the following givens:

> she previously trashed their classroom denying a romantic relationship
> Ami openly wants some alone time with Ryuuji during summer break
> despite denials, Taiga seems inseparable from Ryuuji in and out of class

Uh, Haesslich. Their relationship isn’t exactly to a level that you can call “romantic”. Anyways, it’s actually a good thing to have some one you can depend on, unless you’re a paranoid delusional hikkikomori.

Besides, isn’t the point of a romantic relationship to have someone you can depend on and love? Not saying you need to depend on one person totally and utterly to the point of helplessness, but having someone to depend or be dependent on is a pretty happy thing, really.
