There are so many parodies, tributes and references in this epsisode. Actually Kemeko has lots of them too just way more obscure. I remember Kemeko parodying a famous scene from supposedly the best Japanese movie ever made, Ozu’s Tokyo Story (1953), but nobody from the fansubbers to the blogosphere got the joke. I AM GOD now.

Anyway, it does seem to be a Nanoha parody, plus there’s a reference to Bamboo Blade in the betamax part.

CALPIS is DELICIOUS DRINK btw.
