Just a bit of meaningless serendipitous. This is a pretty interesting show so far, and not just because Minori Chihara's in it. (Yes, I'm somewhat part of the Minorin cult now.) I’m surprised no one’s yet recalled that not only were Kagura and Yomi also Azumanga Daioh characters, Yomi’s family name on that show was Mizuhara.

Ultimately, we know this doesn't remain, so this is where we get to see the dynamics along with hopefully some plot on the blue-butterfly master demon, or whatever. Definitely looking forward to it, the yuri didn't really bother me, and neither did the stress on pre-demon Yomi X Kagura's life before shit hit the fan. First off, the manga is quite very much shounen in genre, albeit lot less shorter and the main lead of the manga takes some time to, er, "grow up", if you know what I mean. One thing that the manga excels at is the humor and over-the-topness of the story at times, and I do think they are doing well on that part as well in the anime.
