    Kuro: the difference between moe and fetish is how long you focus on a subject. In your case, you’ve fixated on Mei too long for it to be mere moe (Awww, she’s so cute!). When you get obsessed with her, it’s a fetish.

    I have to totally second the idea that Yukarin delivered. That was outstanding moe voice work, as well as great animation. Mei jumps to the head of KyoAni’s moe imouto list, above Kyon’s sister.

    @Sheba, hashihime: I believe this episode will be on the honorable mentions list of Yukarin’s career permanently. KyoAni seriously used her to the max this episode and if she tops this performance up somewhere else, I’ll probably faint.

    @Haesslich: I’m moe for Mei but not lolicon/siscon. Seriously, Mei is only awesome because real life imoutos will never come close to having this amount destructive power. Heck, I’d be damned if my own RL sister actually starts treating me with respect instead of disgust.

    They can be. It is just they’ve more or less trained themselves not to be moe in most cases. Especially in the Americas. Looking like that seems submissive to some and thus discouraged buy women for women.
