May’n in Singapore! OMG! OMG! OMG!

OMG! OMG! OMG! OMG! They just announced May’n’s gonna be in Singapore for Anime Festival Asia 2008. I am totally freaking out (in a good way) about this. Now I have a good excuse to go to Singapore and visit all my kouhai bloggers there, ROFL.

It’s too bad only May’n’s going, they could’ve brought Megumi along as well and then we might be able to see Triangler (fight on stage) live!

More information over here, looks like AFA 2008 is gonna be a pretty darn huge event. Definitely not gonna miss it, but looks like I’m gonna be especially broke afterwards ._.

“In 2008, she took on the role of Sheryl Nome as the diva character in the highly successful hit animation series “Macross Frontier”.”

Took on the role? Though I didn’t watch MF, but didn’t she just sang some songs? Poor Aya Endou…

ROFL, it’s funny but yeah, people keep forgetting Aya Endou.

Then again, it’s the songs that are the most visible part of the show. Even I forget about the real seiyuu for Sheryl at times…. :X

    @Shin: Kira~n HIJACK, amirite?

I don’t get why you would be broke. The bus trip from KL isn’t that expensive, you can crash at one of our houses and the food here is only about 30 percent more expensive than in malaysia what.

@tj_han: You forget all the merchandise I might be buying from SG. I don’t plan to leave SG empty-handed. Not to mention I also already have quite a number of purchases lining up for November. Ugh.

Well, it would be a pleasure to finally meet you guys in the flesh too. :)

Maybe if I start rowing my boat now I might get to Singapore in time for the event? I guess living on the wrong side of the country can be rather annoying at these times…

Here’s an alternative way, though rougher.

    1. Claim yourself to be an illegal immigrant.
    2. Get yourself on a boat to Jakarta.
    3. ????
    4. PROFIT!

It’s a much nearer swim from Java Island to Singapore :).

    S.O.S!!! SHERYL ON STAGEEE!!

PS; I’ll be at the event for 2 days. Thats S$8.00 just to enter only.

Maybe I should watch Macross Frontier to see why the hype that’s all. :)

I and some other American otaku are hoping we can get her and Megumi at Anime Expo next summer in Los Angeles. Same with Aya Endo as well (I thanked her and the other two ladies on the YouTube comments page). Man, wish I could afford a plane ticket to Singapore. I’d also check out the sights too, and I’d be glad to take a quick trip to Malaysia afterwards.

And jeez, I didn’t realize so many anime bloggers were from Malaysia.
