Fall 2008: 「Macademi Wasshoi!」 Impressions
Zero no Tsukaima premise reversed. Guy summons girl familiar which turns out to be powerful enough to destroy a country alone, but thankfully she’s an airhead and only cares about him.
I felt quite jaded while starting the show. It still has its moments though, like the yandere cousin who’s not someone to be trifled with when she majigire’s and the Dragonball “IT’S OVER 9000″ tribute scene, but else wise, I can’t seem to like the show much.
Production quality so-so, OP so-so, ED so-so. Maybe the second episode will be more interesting.

The concept sounds really interesting, but when I looked it up and started watching it I figured out what you meant…. what kills it for me is the animation style….I hate this weird SD whatever that they’re doing with it, but the writing isn’t particularly too good either. Bummer since they had a good (albeit unoriginal) concept.

The only thing I liked about the show was the dog-eared maid…. that was about it.
