Plot-wise, Abyss does have a good story for a tales series. I hope they did the same thing with the game, every antagonist and protagonist except for Moes has a link towards each other. (yes, even Natalia, no spoils please)

And they showed Indignation, which is awesome.
Mieu, seriously, is the cutest thing I have ever seen in any series. Someone need make a .gif file of him flying and standing on the save point for great justice.

jade used indignation a bit too early, not that i dont mind but i would like it better if it was saved for a much more epic scene. i also like the fact that they kept tear's unique way of casting spells... i mean fonic hymns

Haha, yep. I still remember that so well. For the 1st part of the game, I felt like pushing him off a cliff so much. After the turning point, he is likeable but not fully yet because he seems so week. Once he became certain, he is much much better and no longer the spoilish, weak, obnoxious, brat he once was.

Of course, that's the whole point. He's supposedly to be a rich bastard who knows nothing about the outside world and he'll get even worse as the series progresses. Luckily, there is a big turning point where he suddenly becomes extremely likeable.

Ah, I never really liked Luke, even after his character development -- though most people end up liking him. ^-^""

@ryggim: In addition to what Peanutbutter003 said, Legendia only had somewhere along the lines of 50 skits, which Abyss definitely had 300 or so. That's a lot more budget -- also consider that the 2nd half of Legendia wasn't even voiced and the skit voicing there doesn't make too much of a difference.

He's the annoying bastard at first, the emo bastard a little later and finally the repenting I wanna be good guy at last ^^ I really like this kind of development in Abyss, one of the best Tales game for me. I wonder if the other tales characters will make an appearance like they did at the Exhibition Match at the Arena >_> It's probably a long shot if not at all. Tear was also one of my fave characters just for the reason she liked cute stuffs. I won't spoil you anymore than she really gets disappointed when she doesn't get to hug that cute thing, because she's embarrassed to be found out by everyone. I'll let out my frustration here so sorry about this, Why the hell did they not voiced the Special Conversations in Abyss, it like unfair since they did voice the ones in Legendia(A previous Tales game before Abyss) It just took out the joy in me when I played the game. It's a real pity since most of the conversations were pretty entertaining and sometimes reveals a lot about a certain character. It just disappointsme --___-- Okay I'm done.

Luke's attitude is going to last a LONG time, unfortunately.

Thankfully, he gets much much better...
