Noto-sama speaking ENGLISH?!!

Holy. Mother. Of. Otakus. Is that Noto speaking in English at the end of the PV?!!

If I am not mistaken, it is, and I am god damn impressed now.

I wonder will they be doing double dubs for international release with the same seiyuus. Oh god, the sheer idea…. /me faints

Yep they are talking in English alright (a very good English given how awkward can pronunciation be for a Japanese). But what really got me was the song they were using. I wonder why i was thinking of the Evangelion movie trailers all the time?

    I see the name Goro Taniguchi…. hmmmm….

That aside, I’m pretty sure Mamiko’s english is pretty good and probably a handful of other VA’s too

Linebarrels looks like a combination of Blassreiter, Eva, and Code Geass.

    No thank you…

Hmmm, CGonzo + Taniguchi sounds like a match made in heaven to me.
Mathematically, negative + negative = positive, but I don’t think that’ll work here.
*impossible!* CGonzo + Taniguchi = good *impossible!*

This kind of happened with ADV’s Macross dub. IIRC they got Lin Minmay’s original seiyuu to reprise her role in the English dub. However, the difference there was that her seiyuu had been living in America for a good number of years and was completely fluent in English, thusly I assume her performance wasn’t awkward.

That said, the fact that they pronounce things correctly at all in this PV astounds me. The acting totally sucks, but still.

@yaku : Because that’s the fourth movement of Beethoven’s Symphony no.9 – also played in full blasting glory back when Shinji emoed over Kaworu ;)
