seriously, the season started out quite promising. but nowadays, i speculate more how it would have ended if it was just one season more than all the crap that they’re pulling right now. everyone who died is coming back to life. if i see rollo and shirley rise from the grave this sunday, i will throw a hissy fit.

I think it’s pretty clear that the Code and the Geass are the will and desire of humanity personified and given form and power. Though humanity isn’t concious of it’s own will of course because of the whole mask thing. They definitely aren’t going to explain this because it’s more of a symbolic concept that the viewer is supposed to interpret then a concrete force or idea.

Basically it’s the Ide all over again, only destructive in a mental way instead of a physical way.

One of the main things messing up Geass to me is that no one seems to die anymore…. Apparently getting the crap shot out of you doesn’t actually kill people in Geass…

(It’s always been that way but it seems like it’s been getting worse and worse.)

Oh man I know what you mean. Cause this is the way I feel too (ended for me between Nunnally’s “death” and Lelouch becoming emperor)

(I’ll speak in past tense, because it’s nearly over)

The show still had some level of seriousness with the relationships getting strained. But yeah it’s easy to see why people can’t take Geass seriously.

I admit I was disappointed by the mid-part of R2, the characters never got some nice development, it was just event after event playing out. Also the “revelations” didn’t leave much too really enjoy. But the show was just been fun to watch and thats that.

But I really really do hope. That somehow we get to know what the original direction that R2 was meant to take.

Because she couldn’t open her eyes during the time she was searching, because of Charles’ geass-induced trauma. But at the last second of her searching around, you see her pause and then look right at the trigger: in her desperation, she apparently conquered the geass-memories and was finally able to open her eyes
