I'm liking that Kirino rocked as hard as she did. Hopefully it continues. :3

>The “split vote” doesn’t even equal Fuko’s votes

The "split vote" really isn't that split - look at the Alicia vs. Akira round Louise won (27/08/08), where the split was about 6-to-1 to see what happens when a fanbase splits between a popular character and a lesser one.

A split of about 50 to 1 like in this case indicates to me that there's a block vote who are organising behind their "stronger" candidates. Given the Nanoha faction's antics this and last year like this, I'm not surprised they're getting counter-voted out of it (and if I'm honest, given the rates my favourites are losing at - there's a subtle clue in the bove post ;) - I'm not all that sorry)

The MSLN girls already had their spot in the sun. Nanoha won Saimoe 2005 and made quarterfinals last year. Fate was runner up in 2006. I am happy that she and Rika lost because I want fresh blood to advance.

What......? Seriously? This really sucks that Fate lost... Definitely they need to get together and vote for Nanoha now.

Anyway, although Chiba won, Koiwai Flora actually got a pretty decent amount of vote too since I did not expect her to get that many votes.

sad day indeed, but this means that nanoha will get a power up, Saiyajin style! and Key characters will now be targeted mercilessly...

Not looking forward to the next bracket. I really want Murasaki to win but it's pretty hopeless against that kind of competition

The "split vote" doesn't even equal Fuko's votes...so split vote didn't take out Fate by any means. Even combined the Nanoha girls lose to Fuko by 70 votes.

But on the other hand, these higher numbers are more Saimoe style. 600-600 is just a poor showing in Rika vs. Haruka. 1,000-1,100 is more like it.
