The Heady Feeling of Freedom

Hayate no Gotoku!

Hayate no Gotoku!

Ah yes! The chapter I have been waiting for long for! This is probably one of the best chapters in the manga as so far, concerning Hinagiku.

BTW, here’s an upload of the same track on the Evangelion OST where the chapter was named after. It quite mirrors the feel of the tower-top scene and also the change of Hinagiku’s perception toward Hayate. Hata Kenjiro has a pretty good naming sense doesn’t he?

Yup, it’s the full-page spread. One of the best chapters to date, although Isumi’s mother isn’t anything to sneeze at. Mmm..

Stop that. I quit Hayate a year ago, I don’t want to start reading it again.

I’ve already got enough shit to read. D8

Shit, being in this blog made me want to start reading Negima, when I swore that I’d never go near one of Akamatsu Ken’s works.

Please read them and vote for Hinagiku in Korean Best Moe Tournament. Hinagiku fans in Korea are counting on International Aid to secure a win over mighty Ayanami Rei.

    English page:
German and Chinese page will be up soon

I don’t need an English page.

I AM Korean. I can do fine with a Korean page. XD

@Magnius: Oh you tsundere~~ Just read it already!

@Haesslich: Oh I sure can’t wait for that part to be scanlated myself too.

  8. Haesslich Said,

Is nothing to sneeze at, even.

Kurogane: Let’s just say Isumi’s mom provokes responses of ‘if that’s what Isumi’ll be like in fifteen, twenty years… RRROWR. No wonder Wataru wants her.” That and, “MOAR”

    @ Magnius

Like Kurogane said, stop being a tsundere. You obviously like it didn’t you? So go read it. Haha.

Wow,excellent track! Zankoku na Tenshi no Teze in slow strings! Can’t believe I missed that one o_o

shaoron: That’s because Nagi’s a horrible tsundere, while Hinagiku is a superior example of one. Nagi follows the Shana route of ‘abuse and violence’ while Hina knows when to back off. That’s probably why Hayate gets more flustered around Hina than he does around Nagi, on top of Nagi being jailbait that he doesn’t want to indulge in as he’s not a lolicon.

Haha… told ya you gonna love this volume.

Anyway in my version, the last panel actually have a double meaning… “view” is referring to Hayate, whom she is too afraid to realise that she likes him… something like that….

@Haesslich: Yeah, I know. I wish Isumi will keep the long hair though.

@Jason: It’s played at episode 26 of the original TV series. Just uploaded it for reference in this chapter.

@Haesslich: Yeah. The Kugyuu tsunderes get really tiresome with their abuse route. Granted, Nagi isn’t as bad as Shana or Louise is, but yes, Hinagiku is the superior tsundere phenotype.

@du5k: Oh we all caught that meaning, I think ;).

Actually, outside of the training she did for Yuuji, I don’t think Shana was EVER abusive. I think you folks are mixing up her with Louise.
