I guess “pulling stuff out of your ass” is Sunrise’s idea of a “masterpiece” in terms of story telling when it comes to Code Geass, I loved season one but halfway during R2 I just cant delude myself on how bad its gotten, deaths that are abrupt with no emotional response and if it does it will last one or two episodes until someone uses that person’s death as a crutch as to what there doing at a given time, then blatantly forgotten to contradict it by helping your love’s killer, fights that end in total pwnage from one side or another, enemies that are portrayed as tough opponents (with a fight scene that should least lasted a third of the episode) getting killed in thirty seconds flat. that the main storyline about liberating Japan has taken a back seat and Emperor Charles and Marianne’s reason for doing what they did was a blatant rip from Evangelion and more plot holes popped each episode that you wonder if a gopher on SPEED was responsible and we STILL don’t know where GEASS originated from and how Jupiter is connected with it beyond the “its aliens” route. and NOW I have to hear about some site saying that Macross is copying Code Geass (not his one mind you), at least they are focusing on the people who are fighting for survival of their species and not the pretty explosions, and even that they exceed Code Geass in all terms even if they have to recycle some scenes from previous episodes like I have noticed and not gone the Gundam route of who “mech’s beam cannon is bigger” . not only that the Macross’s love triangle, as inconclusive (until recently) as it may be is more clear than anything CGR2 has coughed up with ACTUAL romance and not one two minute scene (if that much) and then NOTHING for six episodes until its convenient and then Lelouch gave Kallen the “cold shoulder” approach after the kiss that would make a iceberg proud. I feel that Code Geass Writers should have kept the story pacing normal and not rush it and maybe make a season 3 to bring out the plot because this series is suffering from I would like to call the “Dragonaut Syndrome” as in it started pretty with promise then ended in a clusterfuck of astronomical proportions, Macross plot is as solid as it KEEPING to its original roots that make macross series so great that the concept of even comparing them is outright stupid. that or get other websites to help judge so it doesn’t look so damn biased. yes i’m looking at you koibitoanime.com

What heresy is this that Geass isn’t better when drunk?! Everything sans driving is better when drunk! So sad to see that you sip mineral water with vitamins when watching Geass… :P

What’s the point of comparing it to GSD? So they got a bit better, still doesn’t excuse their heresy for handing out float packs like crazy to make this a Gundam clone…makes me miss Gundam 00. Oh and when is Li going to die? I have great plans for Tianzi…
