Besides, these are ‘new’ Vajra – who knows what they’re immune to? If they’re more like the white ones, they’ll have few immunities compared to the Red Ones… which means Klein could stomp them like Godzilla.

RIP, Nene and Mikhail. With their deaths, Klein’s all alone in the world.

Sure, I don´t know how much of these mini vajran have withstood, but since they are immune to nuclear warheads I have a hard time seeing how Klan could smash them :p

And no, I´ve yet to see a Macross series that fully make me happy. It´s just bits all over the place that make up for a good show.

And thinking back, why is it always the mentor that dies? Or in most cases anyway.

If Luca and Ozma had died then it might have been too similar to SDF Macross, this time it was Mikhail so there won’t be a second Milia and Max. Since when has Kawamori been fair?

As a micron Klein couldn’t help much but if she were Macronized then she could swat a few bugs and possibly find a Queadlunn to do some real damage. Besides I don’t think that Klein went through the Ex-Gear course.

So that´s why I wrote that. Just doesn´t feel right, not this far into the show when Ozma who should have died atleast twice is still alive. Just feel so damn unfair.

The big question I want to ask myself is why Klan had to be made into the bigger version? Isn´t all that in the SMS quarter? Why transform when you´re under attack and it takes time?

It didn´t seem as if she wanted to grav her suit and start fighting so why? Oh well.

This was by far one of the more Darker episodes in the whole franchise and it was rather disturbing to see the Vajra wiping out humans while Grace’s Aimo was playing.

I just loved how Sheryl survived this adversity and lament how Ranka failed at such a critical juncture. Just goes to show how Ranka is still a kid and Sheryl is a formidable woman. I just adored how Sheryl was protecting Nanase given how Nanase and Sheryl were not exactly the best of friends. I just hope Ranka grows up and fast my patience is wearing thin and I can’t believe she remembered Brera…

I am surprised that Alto-hime was talking with Sheryl in a kinder gentler manner than his usual tsun tsun attitude. It was sweet and he didn’t tun after Ranka right away. Right now if Kawamori ended the triangle with SherylxAlto-hime I can accept it, but right now since Ranka has been disappointing me I can’t say I would be accepting of RankaxAlto-hime. It’s too early and Ranka isn’t ready, and right no it seems doubtful that she will be ready.

I hope Klein-sama will make the Vajra pay for what they did to Mikhail. Looks like my hopes for a MikhailxKlein gaggle of kidds was all for naught.

Sunrise has nothing to do with this even in SDF Macross the attrition rate was pretty high for the grunts and Roy got offed. Kakizaki Got blown to hell and without much fanfare. Besides some one from the vic had to die to show that this was a shift into more serious territory.

I want to claim that Sunrise somehow has sneaked into Macross Frontier and is writting the story. Unlogical deaths? Check

Grieving and emo? check

How did this happen?

But if we take out that part, a very satisfying episode indeed.
