Not sure if Grace was the one who gifted the Earrings to Sheryl, maybe all three of them gave Sheryl a gift. Mao gave Sheryl her name, Ransha gave Sheryl the Earrings, and Grace “gave” her fame. Given how Ransha is more connected with the Vajira and how Grace was not fully aware of the abilities of fold Quratz perhaps she did not give them to Sheryl. Given how much Grace really didn’t care I can’t see Grace giving away something that valuable.

For why Sheryl has a vajra core, look no further than to the image with Grace, Mao Nome and another girl which is greenhaired and they all belonged to the 117th Convoy… or I should probably say that the green haired chick is Ranka’s mother and since they were researching the vajra you’d think they got the crystals from there and then Grace gave them to Sheryl after the “incident” where the convoy was destroyed by the Vajra, leavning only Ranka and Brera alive.

My two cents anyway. Mix in with some FFVII and Hojo-like experimenting and voila, poor little Ranka got vajra cells in her and now they are starting to react when there are enough casualities for the vajra.

And I do wonder what happened to the eggs from the last ep, we are shown they are still on frontier, but how did they get there after being in the cockpit?

And why is Ai-kun not evolving? I’d guess he’s the king and Ranka is the queen :p
