Yuriko is kinda lame so I’m collecting ideas for RA3 mods

Finally, EA has revealed the unit all us weaboos have been waiting for, namely the Empire of the Rising Sun’s special commando unit, Yuriko Omega, purported to be a psychic school girl. Ha ha ha.

In retrospect, the name YURIko should’ve cued me in to in, but her attacks are kinda lame. Her primary attack mostly seems to be a overpowered version of the Magnetron, and the secondary attack is just a direct copy of Yuri’s Psychic Blast too. And most importantly, WHAT THE HELL IS WRONG WITH HER IN-GAME SPRITE. IT’S TOO FUCKING YELLOW DAMMIT. I KNOW YOU WEABOOS LIKED KILL BILL, BUT THAT’S NOT THE WAY TO DO IT, DAMMIT.

Nogizaka Haruka’s Secret 02

Nogizaka Haruka

Let me just say this. NOTO-SAMA POWAAAAHHH!!!

Yes, dammit, I love this show thanks to Noto-sama’s rendition as Haruka. When she said, “Seeing cute things makes me really happy.”, I so had to refrain the urge to reply back, “Seeing you makes me more than happy enough.”

This episode was especially funny as hell, since they made Akihabara look like the ideal romantic spot, with both of them going there together. Not– Oops, Haruka going red over the BL section was awesome, then followed by her obsession with the gashapon machine (”popping my cherry” LOL), then followed with lunch in meido cafe.

Hell, they even had weaboos in the show! God I so LOL’ed at that part. Even more so when Haruka conversed with them in their native language, Russian I believe, but I can be wrong. But anyways, it was pretty fluid and natural, so I was really amazed. Must be one of Noto-sama’s hidden talents LOLOLOLOL.

And the ending with Yuto giving Haruka an ohimesama-dakko after she found out that the PSP (her main objective) was sold out and she was so disappointed until her legs gave way was just… just… just… really… ahh!! I dunno what to say. Shit, if this was an official date, I’d say it would’ve been a sure-kill, with the cat totally in the bag.

Well, this episode has definitely sealed up my love for Haruka, despite it still having some rough edges all around. Overuse of the usual rom-com cliche’s are definitely a bit boring for me, but Noto-sama more than makes it up for me I guess.

I am wondering though, when will be the maids making their official appearance.

“Lost Peace”

Wow, they’ve regained my confidence back with this episode. Hell, a shit load of information was revealed, despite being largely a flashback episode, but it seems they’ve cleared things up quite a bit. Actually, I need subs for this episode to digest the information… hurry up Lunar!

But still, they did advance the love triangle a bit, and Sheryl got back some deserved screentime, with the recaps of her concerts, however using the “Welcome the Fanclub’s Night” song and the live version of “What ’bout my Star”. I really liked that little part where she checked her hair before allowing Alto in to her hospital room as well too, hehe.

Not forgetting as well, the song battle between Sheryl and Ranka is probably something to die for. That part was just so awesome, with both of them doing a duet of “What ’bout my Star?”, and it even seems there will be a track for it, probably in the next OST too! Oh boy, Alto you PIMP!

Macross Frontier

That aside, I’m really worried for Sheryl now, since it’s been revealed she’s been Grace’s chess piece from the start, and as they put it this episode, she’s outlived her usefulness. It sure sounded like they were gonna get rid of her soon, and particularly now that they’ve laid their hands on Ranka… Sheryl’s fate is really worrisome :3.

And speaking of Grace, oh dear, it was quite a shocker to know that she’s actually not only just one individual, but an amalgamation of a few others as well, which all seem to be housed somewhere, either in her body or in that big ship in the final moments of the episode. There also seems to be some kind of big plan being executed by them, but ahhh well, I need the subs to get it all, damn jargon.

The ending song this time was Ranka’s version of “Diamond Crevasse”, and admittedly the opening verse was really a bit too high for my ears. I kinda jittered a bit when it came on. Overall though, it doesn’t really live up to Sheryl’s version for me. I liked the commentary by Grace and Co. though, when they mentioned that some people (Alto, in this case), really have good (or bad) luck of the times, with him being embroiled in all of this.

Finally, the “See you next deculture” shot this episode is epic, XD.

Negima! 220

Negima

Well, this chapter pretty much confirms all the hints about Asuna’s past that have been thrown about, although many details still remain to be revealed. I’m just glad we got a nice insight in to Asuna’s origins and her past with the Ala Rubra.

Based on this though, it seems that Asuna will be a prime target for the “enemies” that the Ala Rubra were fighting, considering her natural abilities, so it’s pretty lucky Asuna’s gotten some training from Evangeline. Of course, there’s also Negi’s Magia Erebea. I wonder where he is now on Rakan’s power chart after the upgrade.

Not forgetting the fanservice though. Knight Yue is LOL.

Anyways, next week, Akamatsu takes another “material-gathering” break. I bet Kanon’s got a photoshoot or smth, LOL.

Da Capo II Second Season finally done

Da Capo II S.S

Yeah, I know. It’s already nearly a month since it finished. I kinda left the last episode on the backburner, mostly due to the fact I already knew what the ending was gonna be like.

So in the end, as I am proven correct, deus ex machina occurs and thanks to everyone’s memories of Yoshiyuki, he gets revived back in a final gesture from Sakura before she and the tree disappears. Everyone lives happily ever after. The End.

In any case, the second season has been quite a leap from the dismal shit that was Da Capo II. Honestly for me, I really couldn’t emphatise with the whole shebangs, since I was expecting things to develop in a more… hm, “epic” manner, but the main drama turned out to be mostly of Otome being emo, but at least Yume made up for it quite a bit with her strength. Poor Sakura-san though ;_;. One thing I can say I honestly like about this series though, are the awesome insert songs by yozuca and CooRie.

Well, hopefully we’re finally done with this franchise, but then, there might be a Da Capo 1.5 or something, LOL. Wouldn’t be surprised if that happened.

Lastly, here’s a parting shot of Nanaka. She wears China-dress for bed! OMG!

Oh god, Isumi in a skirt!

Hayate the Combat Butler

KYAAAAAAA KAWAIII!!!!! Seeing Isumi in a skirt is definitely gonna be a once-in-a-blue-moon thing I guess. Although I love kimonos, but having this once in a while is pretty good too.

And this is why Hayate no Gotoku remains one of my favourite manga’s being published nowadays. Kenjiro Hata REALLY knows how to lay on the fanservice and the humor. LOL at Sakuya’s attempt at making Isumi do Shishio cosplay, hahaha.

Another World, Tomoyo Chapter

Tomoyo OVA

NOT ENOUGH KYOU. *RAGE*

Erm, so anyways, the Tomoyo OVA is out, and according to trusted sources, it’s the exact replica of Tomoyo’s route in the game, after you’ve eliminated the rest. This sadly explains why we don’t see anyone else in the episode except for Tomoyo.

Basically, the story deals with Tomoyo and Tomoya’s relationship, after they start dating, and because she gets elected as Student Council President, Tomoya the delinquent is “advised” to stay away from her to not drag her down. Thus begins a long emo separation, with Tomoya in despair most of the episode, while Tomoyo works hard and crazy to fulfill her duties and to to preserve the sakura trees on the hill. Finally, Tomoya manages to graduate properly and even finds a job at a recycling company, and Tomoyo manages to fulfill her dreams, so they both return to each other’s arms.

Granted, Tomoyo is still awesome on her own, but god damn, Tomoya was such a useless lamer in this episode. Hell, he’s like totally different from the Tomoya in the TV series, which to me, had some GAR in it, but this Tomoya… let’s just call him the “trash guy”. Sigh, emo episode is emo.

The best part of this episode has gotta be Sunohara in black hair! LOL. That was surely unexpected.

Tomoyo OVA.

… and okay, I guess the last part in the snow was very pretty as well, but still… :X

Zero no Tsukaima III: Princess no Rondo 02

Zero no Tsukaima III

“This is… definitely a REVOLUTION!”

Bust Revolution Tiffania finally appears officially in the series. If you need a reason to watch ZnT III, Tiffania’s boobs should prove to be a mesmerizing one. Trust me. See now where her nickname comes from? Even Saito, who has had his bloody fair share of boobs (and non-boobs), agrees that Tiffania’s melonpan are exceptional.

Hell, so exceptional that even Louise turned lesbo for it!

Black Lagoon third season, Umineko anime, Indon TV station pwned.

Well, shit. On the heels of my earlier post, now comes this tantalizing tidbit about Black Lagoon’s third season getting announced. Oh fuck yeah, Roberta arc!

Then, Umineko no Naku Koro ni is also getting animated, and I wonder how would it be like, considering that Higurashi’s anime adaption wasn’t really that good overall, but I guess there’s one more interesting anime to watch later on.

Lastly, I totally LOL’ed at this ANN article of an Indon TV station being reprimanded for broadcasting One Piece. “Violent, bloody imagery” I can understand. “Sensual looking women,” nearly made me fell off my seat, but then Nami does have some nice melonpan but.. “close-ups of “women’s body parts”… huh where?!!
