Wow, they’ve regained my confidence back with this episode. Hell, a shit load of information was revealed, despite being largely a flashback episode, but it seems they’ve cleared things up quite a bit. Actually, I need subs for this episode to digest the information… hurry up Lunar!
But still, they did advance the love triangle a bit, and Sheryl got back some deserved screentime, with the recaps of her concerts, however using the “Welcome the Fanclub’s Night” song and the live version of “What ’bout my Star”. I really liked that little part where she checked her hair before allowing Alto in to her hospital room as well too, hehe.
Not forgetting as well, the song battle between Sheryl and Ranka is probably something to die for. That part was just so awesome, with both of them doing a duet of “What ’bout my Star?”, and it even seems there will be a track for it, probably in the next OST too! Oh boy, Alto you PIMP!

That aside, I’m really worried for Sheryl now, since it’s been revealed she’s been Grace’s chess piece from the start, and as they put it this episode, she’s outlived her usefulness. It sure sounded like they were gonna get rid of her soon, and particularly now that they’ve laid their hands on Ranka… Sheryl’s fate is really worrisome :3.
And speaking of Grace, oh dear, it was quite a shocker to know that she’s actually not only just one individual, but an amalgamation of a few others as well, which all seem to be housed somewhere, either in her body or in that big ship in the final moments of the episode. There also seems to be some kind of big plan being executed by them, but ahhh well, I need the subs to get it all, damn jargon.
The ending song this time was Ranka’s version of “Diamond Crevasse”, and admittedly the opening verse was really a bit too high for my ears. I kinda jittered a bit when it came on. Overall though, it doesn’t really live up to Sheryl’s version for me. I liked the commentary by Grace and Co. though, when they mentioned that some people (Alto, in this case), really have good (or bad) luck of the times, with him being embroiled in all of this.
Finally, the “See you next deculture” shot this episode is epic, XD.
