I find it funny that Magia Erebea didn’t actually give Negi the expected ‘dark techniques’ that I thought it would. Apparently, it’s power is to absorb offensive magic and turn it into supplemental magic.
I find it funny that he still uses light based moves like thunder and lightning. Those thunder spears are wicked looking. Why didn’t he pull those out way back when?

Apparently he can not only jack himself up with offensive magics, but he can also suck them up and release them later without having to delay or reincant them. That could be pretty useful right there.

I do believe there was another protagonist with a similar magic eating= pwn power.

this chapter was good :D negi pwned them all lol, and i knew eva was good, but wow this technique = godly if used in the right way.
btw, where’d you find footage of Ala Alba OVA =o seeing some chao arc animation would be cool ^^
