I really enjoyed this one, except when the second half started the art was completely messed up and there was a bunch of stuff that was way too confusing. However, I’m really happy that I read this series, even though LILU SHOULD HAVE GOT HER HAPPY ENDING!

And Aina too, I mean, what? Is she just supposed to be stuck inside a book for another 1000 years?

I’m not the biggest Haruna fan, so I’m feeling some real anger right now. But I have noticed something: the side stories are almost always the most interesting. Hime’s story and Aina’s story were my favorite parts in the whole story.

I agree with everyone above… (Although I personally loved the entire thing)
After looking over it… Yeah, it was totally rushed and at points I was like WTF is going on?… Especially at the start of Lacrima. That completely confused me, and that part is still completly meh.

But I loved the ending (Yeah… I’m a sucker for happy endings).

Overall, there should have been more detail. The whole thing felt rushed, and the story sketchy. Haruna.. She shouldn’t have gotten the princess treatment the whole time, since she destroyed Lilu’s future. Lilu should have been a character with more.. “major character”-ness. Instead, she’s there to toss in a love problem for Shinya, splash some darkness on Haruna’s past, and then die, to earn our sympathy.

The story needs much work.

Ok, upon reading the whole thing I found out it wasn’t so bad after all. I was rooting for Lilu, she was an awesome character. *sigh* Isn’t it sad Lilu.

Ugh I can’t stand this, I’ve read up to chapter 40 were Ryouhei goes batshit insane for no reason and I finally gave up lol. The pacing is fucking HORRIBLE, and the way characters react are way fucking worse. It was good at first, up to the part where the bullshit random time skip of who knows how many years happens. wtf is the author just lazy? Tons of stuff was just randomly said to happen and they skipped to Haruna destroying the world. Suddenly as quick as we’re introduced to that she gets back to normal and the world forgets about them. The reactions of all the people are so stupid and unrealistic sometimes that it makes me cringe. Like wtf, some girl who was barely featured at all is more important to Ryouhei than the world? All his love was just written out not shown. Then he goes bat shit insane on Shinya because he turned off his cell phone when he was talking to Haruna, hell it’s not like she could have gotten their in time regardless!!!!!!! Lol @ how he doesn’t listen to words either. I bet in later chapters it will turn out that he was under the influence of mind control or something, it would make more sense that way lol. His sudden seemed to me as if the author was too lazy to make it believable.

Meh I’ll finish it for completions sake, but I hope it doesn’t get any worse past chapter 40.

As many times as this has been said, I will say it again because these are my exact feelings. You start off thinking its a regular “Gain powers, save the world” , which it was but then develops into something that takes that to another level. The part where it started to dip down for me was around the 7 volume or so when they did the one year time skip. Anyways I could probably right about this for awhile but I’ll skip to the end. I felt LILU was more deserving than Haruna, and frankly the whole crap with “Haruna can’t be saved, and she’ll die” or “If she keeps using her power she’ll die”, but in the end she never died. I probably would’ve have put this in my top 10 or so if it wasn’t so cheesy, “Everybody lives (everyone is just extremely happy for some crappy reason they used to tie up the strings with everyone’s individual backgrounds/stories”. The entire story was pretty much “Someone gets down about something, 20 pages later “FULL POWER, EVERYTHINGS FINE” or that sort of crap. Anyways I just wanted to vent my feelings a bit since I felt extremely sad for Lilu. But Hedric (person above me) conveyed what I felt.

I JUST picked this up last night lol.

Yeah, I actually wished Lilu got the ending, because she seems so much more alive than Haruna, who’s character design I really disliked. The wish Haruna made kind of made little sense since she’d still have to fight Lilu even if they swapped places, and her “I’m going to throw my life away and hurt those that are close to me for people I don’t know well” and her devotion to Shinya felt not just a little weak and superficial at times. This may have been helped by the fact that in the beginning it’s like she’s looking for someone who can read the book and in the middle she’s like “I’ve had dreams of you since my youth.”

Eh, yeah. in conclusion, good series, disappointing ending.
