Okay, let's not forget the really funny scene, the one where Anya wrecks havoc on the school by showing up in her armor. I love that girl! She's so innocent, so crazy, so . . . I don't know, but she's cool!

@wolfx: Well if people don't like his plan they can always pin the blame squarely on him and try to make it out like it's ill-conceived instead of just accepting it's not what they had in mind. Easy solution...and I mean that's what people do nowadays anyway. :p

I doubt karen will ever change sides. she had a chance to at end of season 1, and she came to the resolve even if lelouch lied to her and she got geassed she didnt care and wanted to support zero anyways. she also made a promise to her mother in season 1 which is a strong driving factor for her being a rebel. Susaku would probably be a more likely candidate but its pretty clear a middle fraction is now forming that is neither emperor or lelouch. Im sure he'll stick with that faction.

I also wonder what's the lie they told nunnally about her brother. And for someone who wants to get peace the honest way and doesnt believe in deceiving to win (im sure he quoted this point liek 80million times first season) susaku certainly lied to her to try to see if lelouch is still zero. he should get shot in the face for this.

@Dularc

I don't disagree with you on the whole, but

- Barton wasn't referring to the nulification, but something else that he and his team has been working for the Emperor. Upgrading Orange was just a side job.

- Kallen is in Japan because that's where Suzuka is ^^; He's in charge of the security of Area 11 as well as Nunally after all. I do like the idea of Lelouch turning Anya to his side, though almost impossible at the moment. Same as Kallen switching sides would be an interesting twist, but again highly unlikely at this point.

- I personally think that history wouldn't repeat itself with Shirley's issue. The writers had mentioned before that the Lelouch in this season is different than what he was before, as was proven in the Chinese Federation Arc. I'm sure this time he'll do the right thing.

This episode had much more subtle meanings attatched to it than one might think. First off the comment that The King of Britania made."Only fools wage war." this could eighter hint to Schneizels ultimate demise or that Lulu is on the wrong path.

Secondly, we saw that Odysseus is against war with china and puts other things , such as politics ahead of his own pride, could hint towards the chance of him taking Britania later on if what Charles said is really of such significance. This is what differentiates him from the other royals, including Schneizel and Lulu, who put their own egos before their goals. Others that share Odysseus´s views are ofcourse Euphie, Nunnaly and Suzaku.

It also surprised me that Charles was working on a way to nullify Code Geass and from what we understood from previous episodes in referrance to the Sword of Akasha., was ,meant to kill Jupiter, this we can take as god or gods or also we could call it a ruler. And if it is directed towards the actual elimination of the Geass, and we know there is some organization behind the Geass, we can conclude that he means to bring down this organization, but he needs the power to cancel the geass in order to do so, i mean he does controll a third of the world, i imagine that would be enough brute force but were it for the geass which could nullify all his forces in seconds. The organization that distributes the geass is probably some kind of secret cult which for ages has been handing out free geasses in order to keep the class system of "Rulers" and "Servants" active for some reason which will probably be revealed later in the show.

What i also got from this episode, is the striking resemblance that Shirley shares with Euphie. First of, Lulus obvious affection towards her. Secondly there was a whole episode dedicated to get her and one of the 2 protangonists together, the same thing happened with euphie and suzaku in the last season as we all know. And she knows Lulus true identity but is keeping it a secret. Could history be repeating itself? Or will we be given some sort of twist?

What else struck me as odd, Kallen is in Japan! And not only that, but she is with Nunnaly. This has 2 implications: Kallen knows who Zero is so she probably isnt going to become a turncoat and face Lulu on the battlefield. Or if it does, were looking at a full outing of Lulu being Zero, what with Nunnaly just having her suspicions enforced (she heard Lulus voice on the airship) and Anya seeing that there are 2 Lulus. This could mean that Anya will be defecting to the knights with Rollo backing her up and Kallen going to join Nunnaly. This scenario was also enforced by the fact that not only did Kallen get caught, but also her Gurren MK-2. which in chess terms would be the equvalent of trading a rook and a knight for a queen.
The other is that since Lulu does not want to fight Nunnaly, but since Kallen has shown tendencys to do stuff before thinking(trying to kill Suzaku several times in the past), She might just try to do something bad to Nunnaly which would send Lulu in a berserk rage, and make him lose control his geass again. This however seems less likely, since Kallen knows that Nunnaly is Lulus sister. So they might just try and convert Lulu to their side via Euphemiaish methods.

There are several other things that made me think, such as why did Barton call the nullifying of Geasses "the greatest crime in history" and the fact that Lulu used up his Geass on this incredibly hyped new purple haired character, whose name i´ve forgotten. But i wont delve into that.

This isint the first time that Clamp has hid key-plot elements into fillerish episodes in order to drive up the tension when they finally reveal what will truly transpire from seemingly pointless things. And how truly insignificant some seemingly mayor elements of the series are. This is why i don´t like people calling episodes like this pointless and whatnot...

Hope you enjoyed the speculations.

"Why haven´t Suzaku been the first to go and get his geass cancelled?"

I'm almost certain about one thing, Orange and Suzaku might be playing on the same side, back they aren't on the same team.

In fact, I don't even think Suzaku knows he's alive.

All that really matters now to me is how Shirley will act when she has gotten her memory back.

And does the geass canceller mean that Lulu can use his geass again?

And why does V.V send Orange-kun to cancell all geass? Why would the great Britanian King Charles want everyone who he used geass on to rewrite their memory to get their memory back?

Why haven´t Suzaku been the first to go and get his geass cancelled?

This show just keeps on blurting out more questions all the time and never answering any of the questions. My guess, say hello to Gode Geass Season 03...

all i know from this episode is we have a long way to go to get to the end of the series. lelouch has has ton of brothers and sisters to kill.

i kno kno its not his primary objective but im sure it'll make his day if he can cap a sibling or two in the process to de-throne the emperor and find his mother's killer. Im guessing odyessus is gonna probably gonna be similar to clovis, actually innocent and cares bout lelouch and nunnally but just in the wrong place of a pissed off lelouch.

Who knows maybe if he kills them all he'll get a prize. There can be only one. Highlander Rules.

Gah, how embarrassing ^^;

It's only when I watched the episode again that I notice that one other guy sitting with the other royalities ^^; My bad my bad ^^;

@EvilDevil

"first he gets all of the lolies… and now he gets all of the women… damn him…"

As expected of Lelouch... Without even trying...

Watching the library scene again, Lelouch does apparently feel something for Shirley, otherwise he wouldn't get so worked up when she thought he was lying about liking her.
