You’ve fought for so long… a friend has died…your completely exhausted…
then you get screwed over, have your BCR or whatever it was stolen, another half of a tower appears out of nowhere, one of your allies leaves with your sonofabitch brother and you get thrown down (alllllllllllllllll the way down) to the shitty town that you started from. Its a bit like Castelvania when the castle turns upside down … or any rpg for that matter; they each have “WTF lulz @ u” moments where you think its all over but its just not.

As opposed to destroying the source material to create a stereotypical happy ending?

That said, Druaga isn’t an adaptation, but I’d rather have plot elements resolved eventually rather than never.

Ugh…one of the many things I like about anime versus American TV is tthat anime generally doesn’t have season-ending cliffhangers that make you wait months to find out what happens…but I guess there are always exceptions…

They must have had guts to end it like that, but I’m glad that all the plot threads will actually be answered instead of just ignored.

The very very last scene after the credits, with Jil’s “One more time!” and then “LOL SEQUEL” was pretty awesome, too.
