Of course, you should have realized it after the second episode, when they're in the town that's a giant red-light district, and they get prostitutes to help them escape, not by seducing the official who caught Rita, but bying crowding around him so he couldn't move. Talk about wasted potential. It's not like they were afraid of showing nudity. And then there's the time they spend an entire episode hunting down the scroll case, only to find that Rita put the actual letter in her pocket (or the tank, or something). It's bad times when a 13 episode series needs filler episodes. I could have told you it wouldn’t be worth it.
