Kanokon 07

I totally forgot to blog this episode in the rush of my exams (actually, I watched the episode an hour before my last exam ^^;;) but…

Kanokon

… and heart-shaped nipple covers. ’nuff said.

“reality”

Vandread

Ahhh~ speaking in terms as a Meia fan, this is probably the best episode of the whole series, if only for this one moment.

This one, beautiful moment as Meia gives us a smile that is directly from the bottom of her heart, and more.

Every time I watch this part, I can’t help but to smile along as well. :)

Wagaya no Oinari-sama 07

Nyaann?~

Myaaa nyaa nyaa~

Cute baby fox is cute. The Takagami family are suckers for cute things it seems. Must run in the family. The color scheme reminds me of fox-Kouta if he were a baby fox though, lulz.

Another episode of Kou showing off her abilities and her assets (and her weakness for cute things too *snickers*). Daigoro is one lucky fox cub. Looks like Kou’s the type that looks slender when clothed. I can’t say much with the steam, but she definitely has some decent “melonpan” there. Ah… “just-out-of-bath” Kou is nosebleed-inducing.

Wagaya no Oinari-sama

Mmm~ Kou.

I’m interested to see the other land god coming in next week. She looks cute, despite the less-than-nice rumours surrounding her.

“Blossoming Journey (花咲く旅路)”

Vandread

Another favorite (and of many others as well it seems, from the comments in my previous post) of mine, this episode had Bart finally earning a lot of respect for himself. Sure he went bald, but he also turned GAR. Hell this episode was even listed as one of the 30 most touching moments in mecha anime (spoilers in the link, Nicovideo account required to watch) by this guy over at Nicovideo.

I wholeheartedly agree with Ezra, Nirvana’s lasers are really a convenient weapon. Not only it’s homing, it’s also friendly-fire-proof!

Code Geass R2 07: Quick Impression.

  • Oh wow more epic SPEECH by Charles. ALL HAIL BRITTANIA!!!
  • Gotta love the Code Geass Biglobe adverts
  • Nunally makes her maiden speech as G’vner of Area 11. She declares the reenactment of the Japan Special Zone.
  • This deals a huge blow to Lelouch’s ego, he goes emo and decides to skip the upcoming school trip.
  • Emo Lulu pulls a Shinji and starts riding in the trains round-and-round. Rollo puts a stop to it by airing Nunally’s speech in the internal train TV’s. Wow, Lulu’s really weak against his sister.
  • The Black Knights are worried they can’t contact Zero. Kaguya appears and says she doesn’t mind if Zero’s cheating on him, because he’s a “hero”. XD.
  • Emo Lulu misuses his Geass on a group of guys harrasing a Refrain addict. He takes the Refrain syringe.
  • Kallen manages to find him at the construction side where he first became Zero. He almost injects the Refrain in, but Kallen stops him, telling him to play his role until the end.
  • Lulu orders her to “comfort” him and almost kisses her, but Kallen slaps him and runs off (pwned)
  • Rollo appears afterwards and tells him it’s alright if he stops being Zero. “Zutto.. nii-san to issho ni dakara.” So gaaaaaaay!
  • Lulu and Rollo return to the empty school. Fireworks suddenly shoot out and Lulu finds the Shirley and co. stayed behind for him. He’s touched by it and finally realizes what he should do.
  • The Black Knight’s cargo ship is discovered by a naval fleet, lead by Suzaku. They order it to stop, but it’s ignored. Suzaku orders the bombardment of the ship, while the Black Knights escape via sub.
  • Lelouch reappears in time to turn the tide of battle by shooting a methane hydrate tank located below the Brittanian naval fleet, which stops them dead in their tracks as the hydrate freezes the ocean. Suzaku manages to escape as he was in his Lancelot.
  • Lelouch dons his Zero outfit and heads for Suzaku, declaring that the Black Knights will join Nunnally’s Japan Special Zone, to Suzaku’s chagrin.

More detailed post when the subs appear.

“Be my Baby”

Vandread

Ah, I have fond memories of this one. Vandread must be one of the handful of animes to actually show a real childbirth.

Even more awesome was that Ezra’s baby saved Nirvana by the virtue of her cries. That was truly a very powerful message that they wanted to send. A truly wonderful and powerful one.

Hawt goshujin-sama x meido forced yuri? I approve!

This show never fails to get more and more outrageously humorous by the episode.

“What a Wonderful World”

Vandread

Looking back at it, this episode of Vandread was truly one of my favourite ones and also a very well-done one. It gave the series its first proper character development episode, focusing on Meia, who certainly didn’t endear herself much in the earlier episodes.

This episode showed a very human side of Meia and I can’t deny she remains my favourite Vandread girl until now. Truth be told, it’s thanks to her and Naru Narusegawa that I really planted my roots of interest towards the seiyuu side of things, back then when I was still a fledging fan of the medium, hehe.

Also, this episode gave me my first exposure to the wonderful eponymous insert song of this episode. Donna Burke’s cover version still remains one of my favourites of this evergreen song.

“First Attack”

Macross Frontier

Missile spam time.

Sigh, looks like the loss of 92JeyRfcya, YS2YSUOe1cLtf, and YnXmHqtxqS are really gonna hit us raw watchers hard. T.T This week’s raw looked more like a cam rip than a real encode orz.

Nevertheless still an awesome episode of Frontier. Sheryl certainly gained a lot more brownie points for me this episode.
