Youtube sucks, fox are banning my music video’s which I worked hours on, some have been up over a year.

Well to hell with fox too I won’t be ‘buying’ any more of their media, you can guess where I will be getting it from this day forth. I am that furious with them right now, to think I gave their company money, makes me sick.

As far as youtube goes I have moved to an alternate site, google are even beginning to sensor websites when told to by people filing lawsuits, whatever happened to fair use and the free internet, well goodbye google too while i’m at it.

youtube is suck…i was not uploading porn or anything copyright but they just use a reason of “content inappropriate” to delete me ,delete me and delete me, and finally ban me

god i just got banned from utube all my 4 accounts!!! beetlejuice21 and eurekarentonforever7 and 2 more. i uploaded OVER 150 vids and found out that all of them was DELETED! my magic vids my eureka seven naruto avatar amvs which took me about 10 MONTHS to make them even i am deaf! how hard u think for a deaf person trying to pick right song that went great wt video?! but that [bleep] utube just cant see that we ARE not making profits?! nor money!! and its not fair that some bad[bleep] users are not banned from posting anime episode?! i think im gonna quit youtube and join crunchyroll or veoh bec they are fairly! reply me if ur feeling same way.

I just uploaded a golf tip video complete with the range’s name and phone number in the title. Boom! I have not been able to upload any content for 2 days now. Is this permanent?

Wow!! This sucks big time! I was lucky enough to see my favorite anime, “Black Lagoon: Second Barrage” on Youtube. A fellow from Canada uploaded the entire second season, dividing each episode into three parts. I was so happy that I added on his videos as my favorites and created playlists. Talk about a happy camper! Yet, lo and behold, as I went back today to revisit my fav videos, I get this message in red that says “video unavailable” and the person who uploaded them now has a suspended account. Bummer!
According to another blog I read earlier..it does appear that Youtube removes AMVs from their site. I can only think that someone must of reported it, because this series doesn’t constitute a ban or removal. Black Lagoon is a kick ass anime and I hope everyone gets to see it. Oh well. I said my piece.

i know how you feel, man…i had a bunch of family guy clips on my old account (100,000+ views) and they deleted the clips one at a time instead of in a group, and just canceled my account downright! I WANTED TO SCREAM!!!!

In the majority of cases, the person wouldn’t be assed to take down the content themselves, or wouldn’t respond, or would be too dumb to understand the steps they’re supposed to take. Also, if we’re talking about copyright infringement, the user HAS broken the law, and YT’s stance on this is made fairly clear in their TOS and help docs. So I don’t see what the problem is?

Youtube accounts tget banned now because some jerk reports you and they ban it without asking you to remove your content because so many people use it. Youtube can’t be bothered with talking to just one person to get them to fix their content.

Whatever YouTube video I feature in my blog, I download now in fear of getting taken down. I myself don’t upload videos of my own to prevent weird/odd/unjustified banning incidents.

Ah, this is why it is really bad to have corporate interest. When you already make deals with “old/traditional media” companies like that TBS, their ideas and views on copyright will definitely conflict because internet video is such a new and alien technology that completely changes the landscape of how to do business.

Sometimes it all boils down to “how do I profit”.

I’m imagining there will still be hundreds of videos in YouTube which features that 528-hit combo scene you may have linked. At the same time, gazillions of Narutard videos every single minute. Their censors/banners must be stressed out right now… or maybe their censors are not human, but crappy AI bots.

You probably had at least two other videos that infringed on copyright. It’s a bitch that Youtube doesn’t show you exactly where you stand in terms of strikes… maybe the guys in policy will get their act together in not too long.

Anyway, were some of the videos you’d uploaded against the TOS/infringing upon copyright or do you think that the notices are not justified?

Duh? You’re not allowed to have more than one account; if they take one down, they take all of them down, and if you make more, they take those down.
