The anime didn't cover Kei's story (which takes place a few months later, probably simultaneously with the Mizuki scenario) either. There's definitely enough content for another series if the producers choose to go ahead with one.

You're right about the phone card countdown in episode 10. I was so far on the edge of my seat I just about fell off the couch.

But overall, it's a masterpiece. I was a little weirded out the first episode by how strange it was visually, and I think I only came back because it *looked* so unique. But it didn't take long for the story and the hard-hitting emotional impact to become the real draw.

Leviathan, you should know that they have been changing it from not harem to harem every now and then, which is lulzworthy. (Also lol at ignorance).

>I also lol at wikipedia calling it a harem series…
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ef:_A_Fairy_Tale_of_the_Two.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Ef:_A_Tale_of_Memories._episodes

None of these mention the word harem.
You should have check them before talking.

Also I personally didn't like the show that much, (find the characters kind of annoying, especially Chihiro; her remembering of Renji was a forced happy end; didn't liked the music) but I might give it another shot some day after the new VN will come out

ef is one of the best, if not the best, of the dramas I've seen so far. The artsy look of the series was, instead of annoying, one of the main factors to why it was so engaging (independent movie makers should see it, for the good of all of us). I actually rewatched it only a week after seeing it for the first time, as a friend of mine wanted to see it (probably due to my frequent mentioning of it), which was also good as I saw more details in the story, as well as understanding the ending better.
Putting both stories in one was a genial idea- just enough characters, and both stories were bound together in such a way that I didn't demand to see the rest of one story when it jumps to the other. I could probably drag this out further, but I will just leave it with this. ;P

I've been wanting to rewatch this series as well, not just because of the upcoming game but because it's one of my favorite animes ever made. I can only hope someone makes the sequel into an anime as well, and after seeing SHAFT actually create something this good I wouldn't mind it if they were the ones to work on the next one either.
Oh, and Yuko IS the best.

Mizuki is actually Renji's cousin, so if everything goes well for Renji, Kei-sempai will become Kei-oneesama, and then comes the slew of other strange relationships that might result...
In the Op for the second game, from what you see of Yuuko really makes me wonder if she's suppose to be a god or something. This is kinda strange since the second game was suppose to be Himura telling the story to Yuuko in the church. Not that I mind seeing more Naru Nanao artwork animated...
