This is a Sheryl spam post.

Do not read if you are still on 56k(LOL) or if you aren’t a fan of Sheryl or if you’re a trap-blogger who fanatically loves any young girls with green hair.

Macross F

Shit, even the sponsor advertisement is showing the sheer win of Sheryl.

Oh god. Alto and Sheryl in a locker. In a locker. In a LOCKER. Interestingly enough, the right pocket of my pants is always where I put my handphone at. Vibrate mode is awesome, no?

Macross F

Ranka’s handphone is…. intriguing. It almost steals the show by itself. I can’t stop looking at her phone. It’s just so… weirdly alive and unique.

Macross F

Macross F

Alto-hime gets pushed about by Sheryl. The Kabuki-hime and the Uta-hime make a good pairing.

Macross F

Sheryl trying to catch the butterfly = KAWAII!

Alto-hime can’t take spicy stuff, awww~~~

Suddenly aggresive Alto-hime makes anyone blush too.

Macross F

Oh my, that’s a weird cow.

Macross F

Oh my, Zentradi farmers. I’m really impressed at how they managed to coexist with each other. I have really got to watch the earlier Macross’es.

Macross F

Macross F

Alto-hime and Sheryl in the fairy tale world of the Zentradi’s. It looks pretty fun to do that too.

Macross F

Macross F

Huge panties are huge.

Macross F

Klein Klan also makes an appearance, in her true Meltrandi form as well. Looks like an instant bond between her and Sheryl.

Macross F

Ranka’s around too, and she does an impromptu street performance, impressing the heck out of everyone nearby with her vocal skills. That rendition of 「What ’bout my star?」 by Ranka was really good.

Macross F

Good enough that even Sheryl’s taking Ranka’s talents seriously. I like that part of her too.

Macross F

Aw.. dere-dere Sheryl~~~

Macross F

Sheryl gives Alto-hime a parting kiss. Surprisingly, I’m not that jealous. Is it because I think don’t perceive Alto as a guy?

Macross F

And thus, the Star Date ends. Sheryl is pure love.

Oh, there was also some background exposition on the Vajra throughout the episode, apparently they are biological weapons or something like that, but meh, who cares. All I need to know is the the Vajra’s are big, bad space monsters, and Alto-hime must vanquish them to save the universe.

Next episode; PEW PEW PEW PEW PEW PEW PEW PEW PEW PEW PEW PEW PEW PEW PEW PEW PEW PEW PEW and Sheryl might be staying longer on Frontier than planned (oh c’mon we all saw that coming, right?).

You do not perceive Alto-hime as a guy, after all were you not the adherent and part of the think tank that came up with the “fap first worry later” doctrine…Perhaps you question the lineage of Mako-cakes and its union with Meltrandi women?

In any case Sheryl scores over 9000 points with this episode, they looked so good together. I am torn in who to support in the love triangle…In any case it’s becoming easier and easier to pretend that this is just yuri.

I like this dere dere Sheryl.

I do believe that with a little squinting this can easily become yuri…. XD

The locker scene was hilarious… and the awkward look they have as they left was priceless…

So Sheryl ‘kidnapped’ Alto-hime on his way to school to take him out on a date?

What we really need is Alto-hime taking the VF-25 out on a date.

    Ranka is bettarrrrrr

Also, I saw Do You Remember Love, but I’ve never seen any of the other proper Macross shows. There’s a boxset floating around with my name on it, though…

See, this is proof that Alto-hime is truly a descendant of Mako-chan. You put Klein in a Haruka-like outfit and he just… looks at her. Even Sheryl can’t divert his attention until she does something.. or interacts with Klein.

Amazing what a good bra does for that woman. We go away from scary Ramius-style jiggling to… Haruka-neesama. That, and her intimidating stare – look at how Mikhail ran from it once he realized she was there…

I recently started watching this show and I have to say, compared with my original perception of “eh, it looks like another generic macross show…it’ll probably just be okay” I have to say, I am really impressed. Cute catchy JPop singers mixed with mecha….heck, this is how Xenoglossia SHOULD have been…

In any case, in terms of Sheryl, normally I like the Tsundere archetype the most…but in this case I’m not really sure. She was so off-turning with her overly tsun-tsun to the point of just annoyance introduction, it hasn’t worn off entirely for me yet… though I do like how they are portraying her now. Still, I’m a sucker for the pure overly cutesy Ranka; when she does her songs I like their style a little more and they tend to portray her pretty well….. that and her phone is the coolest weird little creature gadget thing I’ve ever seen.

The way I view it right now it’s like comparing Miki Hoshii to Haruka Amami.
