To be fair, Yuuka’s real family, the Himemiyas, are a pretty much a bunch of amoral scumbags (based on what my friend’s been able to relay) — anyone who actively forments wars and conflict for profit can’t be nice people. Plus their ‘traditions’ aren’t sunshine and flowers either, given from what we’ve seen how her older sister (homicidal goth loli #1) turned out.

Yuuka’s profile was by far the most disturbing of the bunch. No wonder Ouka was concerned, the number of suicide attempts was absurd enough, nevermind the cause of injuries.
