Tower of Druaga 02

Tower of Druaga

Boy meets cute girl… ahh, typical Gonzo.

Yeap, this episode totally makes me go… “Ahh~ this is truly a Gonzo show.”

You have the hotheaded idealistic protagonist in Gil.

You also have the complex, interrelated multiple plot threads going around, half of which are going to be used randomly then discarded.

You also have the cute, female lead in Kaaya, voiced awesomely by Fumiko Orikasa. She pretty much is gonna make this show work for me, elsewise, I probably dunno what to watch for.

Let’s see how episode 3 plays out, after the oh-I-saw-it-coming-from-a-mile-away twist they did at the end of this episode.

P.S. More Hocchan x Roper action would be quite win.

Tower of Druaga looks pretty interesting and promising actually. It’s one of my favourite so far among the Spring season lineup.

Although I wish Gonzo would go and finish up Vandread in this lifetime.

Episode 3 was awesome. I don’t get all the hate this series is generating.

Then again, I’ve never seen a show in this genre before, so…

It’s really hard to outdo staples of heroic fantasy anime like Lodoss OAV and Berserk.

I like Tower of Druaga so far =D its pretty entertaining and I don’t really mind the some of the generic plot lines so long as something happens lol

@Nekonron: vandread is finished I thought… 2nd stage cleared up everything pretty much lol

Not really. At the end of the 2nd stage they had 4 new warships going their way, not to mention the red paeksis (did I get that right?) escaped as well.

Not a genre I’m familiar with, again.

This way, everything here is new to me. Probably why I’m enjoying it more.

Plus, Coopa is awesome. Minorin ftw.

@Nekonron: that was the end of the 1st stage… the 2nd stage ended with them defeating the red pexis and the resolution between the men and the women planets … total of 26 episodes… 13 in the 1st and 13 in the 2nd stage

Ugh, ok might have confused the 2 seasons endings together. But I remember the red paksis escaped to Earth or something? Or maybe it’s just me wanting a stage 3 too much that I’m imagining it XD

Lol, this has turned in to a Vandread discussion thread. Ahh… the memories. I really missed that show. Wouldn’t mind if Gonzo made a continuation to it myself. Even Kiddy Grade’s getting one.

@Nekonron: lol I wouldn’t mind a third season because technically they never did go to earth… but they did apparently defeat the “final boss” =D

@Kurogane: haha sorry for being off topic XD but to be even more off topic =O… any news on the Kiddy Grade new season? I thought it was supposed to come out in the winter season last year originally
