It was a very nice show, though I agree that the third season (anime-original Kuzuha-arc) was the weakest, but still much more enjoyable and humorous then any other show of that time.

for more info & images (including all 104 eye-catches in high res) check my blog:

By the time HnG started, it seemed it would be a great season for comedies, and it was indeed. However I was expecting HnG to be the best one, however other shows that started airing at the same time, like "Nagasarete Airantou" and mainly, "Seto no Hanayome" (one of the best comedy shows ever), proved to be far better. In review, HnG was very good, only it wasn't as good as its competitors.

PS. I also prefer Nagi-chan :)

More Hinagiku is a MUST..
More Maria is encouraged..
More Hayate and Nagi is..expected of course.(I love them too)

Yea, Hayate no Gotoku is a unique anime that has it's own charms..
There are some things that the anime has and other animes don't..
That's why I absolutely LOVE this anime..
And looking forward to the 2nd season as well..

I feel that HnG started out really well... then it lost a bit of steam, especially with 52 episodes.
You can't expect all 52 episodes to make you laugh and cry, though a good part of them did. And I'm not sure how they'll pull off a second season, but I won't complain. :)

Well, that marks the end of the first season. Like Kurogane-san, the anime didn't really went out as what I expected to be x-x. Regardless, the 2nd season is something to look forward to :P. However, I'm quite captivated from the Manga's side (Chapter 79) atm. Hope Hata-san continues with what he's conspiring :P. More Hinagiku kthnx.
