Now, the reason why Tiera has a male’s voice and female appearance is to coincide with Virtue/Nadleeh GN Unit’s appearances.

According to Wikipedia, Nadleeh is a Navajo language meaning “A male and female soul sharing one body” or something like that.

Now, Tiera’s gundam units are exactly like that - Virtue clearly has the appearance of a male character, bulky and muscular. When transforming, Nadleeh resides “within” Virtue, clearly having a female appearance.

So Tiera, like his Gundam, has the characteristics of the nadleeh.

Which brings up this subject:

Did anyone notice that all the pilots of the original GN units somehow had a physical/mental/personality resemblance/similarity to their Gundams?

I am pretty sure that none of the main pilots have died in the first season!

Tieria: I’m certain that ‘he’ was a ’she’ to begin with… I think one episode, he breaks down and says “watashiiwa” rather than “bokuwa”… Thoughts??

Oh, and, splitting it into 2 seasons is great! That means less “repeat scenes” in the series, where you just get the same sequence used over and over, like in most mecha anime and Gundam Seed. God, that series just went downhill so fast…

Usually hate time-skips, but I guess this is fine.

HAHAHAHAHA! YES! PATRICK CAN NEVER DIE! He’s going to live out everyone in this series, no joke. I’ll bet he’ll be the narrator for the series epilogue, an old man reminiscing to Katie on their death beds.

That mask is kinda creepy…Seriously, they give Graham a robot face and they can’t keep it from looking like Darth Vader’s head? The old masks were better.

The mech design similarities don’t surprise me seeing as it’s the same team. How do you know that that isn’t Tieria though hooking up with Louise?

As for Graham, that mask looks really really dumb. it doesn’t even have eye covers like all masked people of all serious gundam series up till now! I’m sorry but his cool factor has dropped alot to me now…. he’s pretty much turning out like Mu La Flaga - both started out cool, but once the second season or sequel series came about they both took a turn for the worse.
