ahaha~

Gonzo Digimation is behaving like Apple Inc: trying all different methods to sell their products internationally. Well, since Gonzo Digimation is a "Digimation" studio, it's a no-brainer that they're going "wireless" like the Macbook Air. Very, very, interesting.

Wow.... this is an amazing development. Gonzo are big enough to influence the rest of the industry. As long as the subtitles are good I think this is the future of the anime industry.

Much like the music industry in which more and more bands are streaming whole albums or letting you download it for free.

The Tower of Druaga: the Aegis of Uruk is a must watch anime among those two GONZO produced anime. The director is a big factor of reasons for watching it.

The difference is no more 2 days delays. However, I have to see the quality of the subtitles first. I don't want to be overloded [sic] with some weird Japanese Engrish.

whoo... I like that idea! A stepping to for the anime industry. I won't mind paying too if the anime is good. If this goes well, i believe we can prepare to watch more higher quality anime.

I think this is how things should have been done.

And, if you're wondering who am I, <a href="http://lwb.lawnet.com.sg/legal/lgl/rss/legalnews/56292.html" rel="nofollow">look here</a>.

Very good news indeed.

Neither The Tower of Druaga or Blassreiter were on my watch list for the spring but now that Gonzo is trying something like this, I'll definitely give both a watch now. I wonder if there will be advertising attached to the free streams - if not, I'd be more then willing to watch a couple of commericals if that helps this effort by Gonzo work (though it's probably difficult to find companies that would advertise worldwide but maybe some system that tailors the commericals to the country from which your watching would work).

If the subbing is decent, which it should be, I think it will damper the amount of fansubs for these two shows and the amount of people who download them since it sounds like speed-wise they'll beat all but maybe the very fastest speedsubs and I think the majority of people who watch fansubs would like a legal alternative that has the perks of fansubs without the limitations of watching anime on R1 DVD's.

Now this is a positive step. Though how well it'll turn out is going to be another story all together; crossing my fingers on this one.

Depending on the quality this could really turn out to be something big. I wonder how the fansubbers are going to react to this news. Are they going to drop Gonzo shows or will they 'full speed ahead and damn the torpedoes'?

It's a step in the right direction, but my interest for those two shows are kinda low. But since it's free (I'm reading it that way), I'm willing to check it out. Hopefully more companies will take the initiative as well.

I'm also curious to see the level of Engrish in the subtitles.
