I was really turned off by the new style of Okawari at first, but watching up to this episode, I’ve realized that the familiar voices, character situations, and music still make a very good Minami-ke experience.

Furuba: I remember that. I still say that, beyond that, she seems to think he’s the only guy who isn’t an idiot… and puts him in the same class as Haruka, subconsciously. I also suspect she realizes he was Santa, and nto a screwup like Takeru.

Chiaki treats Fujioka well because she thinks of him like a ‘father’ isn’t it? coz in series one haruka says he was like their father and so yeah… xD she sat in his lap, so cute.

About bloody time you got to it – they got everyone in swimsuits, a real Hosaka delusion, and a bunch of Mako-chan and Touma fanservice without any Fuyuki involved. Plus the Hayami-senpai creating trouble incident, complete with a slide into a Natsuki-style voice. Oh, and the speed-stripping.

Kinny: She got her cup upgrade in episode 1. This is nothing new.

Also, did anyone else find Chiaki blushing after she’d been rescued by the other Fujioka cute, especially how she reacted after Kana started needling her? You know, he’s the only guy she doesnt’ heap abuse upon, and invites over for dinner, and treats him almost as well as she treats Haruka-neesama.

I’m still baffled at why I’m not watching this. I must be getting old to not have time to watch anything. Once I get Clannad and Shana out of the way, I’ll promise meself to watch this.

BTW, is it me or has Kana received a cup-upgrade?
