Gundam 00 19

Gundam 00

That line can so be taken out of context.

The calm before the storm episode. Exia, Virtue and Dynames face off with the Thrones, with Nadleeh revealing a hidden feature that allows him to control any unit linked to Veda, after stopping Eins and Zwei from doing that docking thing. I love that actually. Docking in the middle of a battle is really illogical. But Tieria should’ve let them dock and then activate that Trial Feature. Makes them an easier target. Anyways, the Thrones retreat, leaving a parting gift, Setsuna’s background and real name.

Setsuna’s real name turns out to be Sorun Ibrahim, which really doesn’t fully sound Arabic, but who am I to judge Sunrise’s naming sense? He was also part of the KP-something, who decided to suicide bomb Ireland for some reason, I suspect it’s the Irish love for alcohol since there’s no other reason why Ireland would be screwing up with the world’s oil export market, which took out Lockon’s entire family. This sparks a faceoff between Lockon and Setsuna, and I really expected better of Lockon, but it seems my expectations were too high. Long story short, he decides to trust in Setsuna after shooting off some hair. *rolls eyes*

As for Louise, okay I was wrong, she still has her legs working fine. God damn Sunrise plot armor. Anyways, she decides to split it off with Saji, because she’s going to be a burden and cue emotional flashbacks complete with insert songs. Just as they were gaining some brownie points… they had to spoil it so soon. Well, hopefully that’ll be the last we’ll be seeing of random Louise x Saji moments.

Saji’s sister also gets some headway in her investigation of “Lagna”, who turns out to be her boss. Meanwhile, a “rat” in CB contacts the three main powers and leads them to a base in Antartica, chockful of solar furnaces. I’m starting to think CB’s “eradicate war” ideal is to “let them kill each other after we stir them up with our technology”. I’m starting to envision an Last Exile-ish situation in the future with CB as “The Guild”, regulating battles between the three super powers.

I don’t get it why people call it over…. It isn’t over unless either of them dies by the end of this series. Louise is just not strong enough to support a full-blown relationship because of what happened. This does not mean that She and Saji are over, no. It’s more like conditioning herself.

True. But I didn’t meant that they’ll be splitting up permanently, I meant that we won’t be seeing episodes interspersed with random “Louise throwing a tantrum, Saji in a bind” scenes. Those were getting irritating at some times.

I said it three times already, but SUNRISE has done it again.

I know a GUNDAM is more than just the GN Drivers, but now the world will have 30 units with these drivers, Can someone tell me, if the 4 original GUNDAMs took almost 40 years to development their 5 GN drivers, how could the Thrones and the people behind them could built 35 (or more) GN drivers in 80 years. That’s bullshit for me.

Now I’m a little disappointed with this new development, since the world will have a way to fight the GUNDAMs, but not a way their reach by themselves. Well have now Exia, Dynames, Kyrios and Virtue in one band, the Thrones in another and finally the world with their new mobile suits. I want to see how they’ll compensate the battlefield.

Funny, but that’s actually the most believable part of it.

Example, it took us thousands of years to finally develop a flying machine (thank you Wright brothers) but it only took about a hundred years for us to develop it in to the modern jets we all know and some really love.

In fact, in any development of a new technology, once a successful prototype is made, further developments of it will just take very short amounts of time, most especially in warfare technologies and I don’t see why that isn’t the case with Gundams.

Yes, the Gundams have a temporary technological advantage for now… but as in real life and shounen series, those really never last long before some else one-up’s it.

Because they are cheap knockoffs built without the process that Dr. Aifman described very briefly in Episode 17.

He’s right they’re just “pirated” GN Drives…..The GN Drives the Meisters use are more effiecient or something i think.
