Satou said that Tanaka had "chosen his own path" and wasn't a coward. I just don't know about that. I mean, what did Tanaka really choose? To me it seems like he chose willful ignorance. His returning his charm to Margery (through Satou) doesn't help protect Oga any. Sure, I guess he feels he isn't "involved" anymore, but he knows enough to know that short of taking her out of town, she will unavoidably be in harms way. At least before, he could say he was playing some part, however small, in protecting her by working against the forces putting her in danger. Now he get's to freeze like everyone else.

Just don't see how that's brave.

"Oh Rie Kugimiya and her identical characters."

I would not say they are identical, considering that they would act different if they swap lives. Tsundere? True that, but Louise would probably had let Saito die in one of the first chapters, etc.

Considering that this new gang of cloaked fellows is seen being fought in the new OP, and Konoe was not in the old one, I believe they are in canon.

Not sure how the rest of you folks feel, but imho the quality of Second rose ever since epi 13. The recent 2 doesn't have the amount of action we saw in 15, but, how should I put it, the feel is really different from the first half of the series.

It would seem as if the quality is directly proportional to U2's level of seriousness :). More serious = better show ^^.

I love how she's voicing one of the main characters in the Tales of Symphonia sequel too.

My immediate thought was "Wait, why is Shana in this game?"

Well, that one's not so identical, except perhaps in terms of lethality... Shana tends to produce fewer cases of 'collateral damage' and 'acceptable casualties'. Nagi may talk about firing orbital weapons, but...

>>unlike a certain loli, whose alter-ego in another show’s just as bereft of morals

Oh Rie Kugimiya and her identical characters.

Ah, thankfully Oga-chan's getting some love... unlike a certain loli, whose alter-ego in another show's just as bereft of morals... but also lacks this one's self-control. And to think I thought NAGI was bad...
