The new Trinity Trio

Yeah, I decided to jump ship and get Shitnsen in the meantime. Yeah, boring mostly recap episode is boring.

That aside, hearing Rie Kugimiya in an Gundam show is just lol. Much more when Neena has such awesome boobs, especially for a Rie Kugimiya character. Really. Awesome boobs. And she has freckles as well. LOL.

Gundam 00

As for the new Gundams, Neena’s unit is pretty awesome with her Stealth Field feature, while the bits on Zwei are just overpowered. Oh, and I hate Zwei’s pilot the most. Neena’s Haro is pretty disturbing to me for some reason.

Is that the one with the purple shell and red eyes? Yeah, devil red’s kinda disturbing, especially with those eyebrows… But I was galf-expecting her to shout ‘urusai’ when Setsuna said something…

    Yeah the Thrones…a bit overpowered.
I mean Agrissa was blown away even with it’s heavy armor.
Rie Kugumiya is way too cute for this show. It seems a bit forced to me.

Zwei’s pilot is the most annoying character by far (more so than Patrick).

I think it’s pretty obvious why the Thrones have to be so humongously powerful… I’d say the odds for our old Meisters having to fight them seriously before the end of the show are something around 20:1. Although before their appearance I could’ve lived with a little more of the combined Three Powers kicking the Gundams’ rear ends, as heroes who always win aren’t all that interesting. Especially the Flag Fighters didn’t get to show their stuff.

IMO, Zwei’s pilot might actually be a welcome character. As the Gundam Meisters are seen as dumb and annoying by some viewers, introducing someone worse can make the viewers take the side of the Four Nutcases. If he plays his art well, he’ll become what pro wrestling connoisseurs call a good “heel”: someone who’s so good at being evil, he makes the good guy look better.

About time. Episode 17 is way better — pivotal, almost.

Actually, this isn’t the first non-flat Rie Kugimiya role. XD

@Phuong: Of course, I know that. Well, Kugimiya has been playing mostly loli-ish roles lately, so I kinda welcome the change of archetypes. But seriously…. didn’t expect the noticeable assets she has.

@Guruhoro: Valid point there. I remember back in GS and GSD, they had this trio antagonists that were more stupidly psychotic than Kira and Athrun that really diverted the hatred a bit.

Lol…come to think of it, they always have a set of ‘trio antagonists’, but they just die off in the end due to the eventual overpowered-ness of the good guys.
Why can’t they come up with something original for once?

It’s because it’s not a Gundam series without them.

Seriously, nothing really new has been added to their formula :P. But then, people do say that G00 is Sunrise’s attempt to remake Gundam Wing for the new generation :P.
