Yukari wants her oppai.
This show just gets more and more ridiculous doesn’t it?
It’s time for clubs registration, and the whole school is out on a full swing. Aono, being the insatiable pervert that he is, decides to take a look at the Swimming Club, who is apparently female-only. Moka, being a Vampire, can’t get near water, but still she decides to follow him to the pool. There, she gets pissed off by Tsukune’s flirting, and gets splashed with water, weakening her, so she walks away.
Well, shit soon happens, and it turns out the Swim Club is actually the Mermaid club, and Aono almost gets done in, when Moka comes at the nick of time to stop them. She jumps in to the water, and soon faints. Seizing a chance thanks to Kurono, Aono manages to take off the Rosario, so Super Vampire Moka finishes the job. Aono gets a nice slap and scolding afterwards from her. The next day, Aono apologises to Moka, and somehow their conversation is overheard by Neko-sensei, who invites them to join the Newspaper Club that’s she advising, together.
Tsk, tsk, tsk, Aono. You really need to read up on your occult knowledge. Seriously. Anyways, “Aono being stupid so he has to gets saved by Moka again” episode. Btw, smart move there Moka-san, jumping in to the water like that, even when you know it’s gonna disable you. It’s like jumping in to a bathtub with a switched-on toaster in it. Oh wait, logic doesn’t apply in this type of shows anyways.
That said, wow this episode truly must’ve used up quite the budget. 3 freaking insert songs in one episode, one each from Moka, Kurono and Yukari’s seiyuu. Too bad it meant tons of stills, and recycled cells throughout the whole swim club fiesta thingy. See, that’s why I don’t like the henshin scenes as well. Gives them at least 60 seconds worth of stills to save on money each episode.
Oh, and this week’s MotW, the leader mermaid was voiced by Yukino Satsuki lol. Probably one of the rare times seeing her play the antagonist.
And the new ED animation really, really rocks.
