The 5th girl is likely Ruby, plays a part in a storyline before the evil looking lot in the ED are introduced. Shan’t say too much for those who’ve not read the manga (besides, who knows what they’ll turn it into in the anime).

With only 13 episodes planned and having to introduce Gin, Mizore and Ruby though, I wonder how much of a story they’ll actually manage to tell. Hell, I’m shocked they actually put in a filler with such a limited timeframe.

That reminds me… there are five girls in the opening seconds of the OP sequence. We have Kurumu, Yukari, Moka and Mizore… so who’s the fifth girl and what’s her relationship with Tsukune? What type of monster is she? Is she an anime original character or does she appear in another part of the manga (like WAY down the road)?

I agree with the fact that this was filller episode to the max. And wtf was that white liquid supposed to be shooting out of the “defense force”…..sweat or what. cause I know what it looked like….
the ED was nice, but im waiting for Mizore Shirayuki, if they screw her up im going to be royally pissed. but I do enjoy the ED’s and OP’s. i mean it’s a “fun” show but their taking the fun out of it by overdoing fan-service. Honestly I wish they’d just stop the show, go back and start over and do it right.

matt: That’s still not vamp – he’s just a mortal using vamp blood… like a WoD ghoul. It’s only after he basically becomes addicted and the balance changes that he goes into the psycho ghoul mode, instead of the mere ‘in control’ version.

I was gonna say, it mostly just looks like she got pwned by Arcueid in a fight at the bottom. Just hangin’ around waiting for the Melty Blood to end it all.

Well theres a good reason why the episode was boring, because it was an anime original. LOL! First anime original and it sucks hardcore. Anyway I was thrown off how they changed the opening, and ending again. Not to say its not good, I rather like both. Especially the ending. Man that was awesome. I thought it was kinda weird how the main cast was fighting Moka though since everyone’s been introduced except for two people. I thought it would have been cooler if they were fighting along side her. Well can’t win um all. I mean why can’t we have that kind of fighting in the episode itself, because we get once again another crappy kick by Moka. Well from the looks of it, they’ll introduce the new characters and then probably get into the darker portion of the manga. I’d say they’ll get through the first three volumes and end with the student enforcers. So if they did that there would be a chance for a second season. Not to get ahead of myself. Although since they’re introducing a character who comes in after the 3rd volume they may take a different approach. Well we’ll have to wait and see. Just they seriously have to get rid of that transformation with Moka or change it. Its starting to really get annoying.

That’s Ghoul-Tsukune, not Vampire-Tsukune, like World of Darkness ghoul – you get too much vamp blood, and you have similar strengths… but you burn the blood as you use it. Except for some, who are BORN that way (due to Mommy having a lot of it in her system while gestating you).

Still, Tsukune seemed more assertive in the manga than he does here. I swear, you could call him Keitaro and nobody would notice the difference, minus the art style and the fact Moka’s more dead-sexy than Naru ever was…

yeah i hope they follow the manga. cuz when tsukune goes into vamp mode, its over! but it kinda sets whats going to happen to him afterwards.
