Somehow, this anime has a really weird by-taste. All the cutsyness, funnyness, etc. all seems pretty reversed in this specific setting. Characters that would be totally loveable in a different setting somehow are perverted to the point of being despicable. So far I hate every single one of the characters except for Hirose and Hayami; but I dislike Hirose's laid back attitude.

With so much obvious injustice going on, I wouldn't be able to calmly live my days away like Hirose does. I hope he really gets some spine and finally starts teaching all those other classmates some lesson.

In other words, he could use a bit of the spine of Tomoya from Clannad.

Man this anime really makes no sense.

If they're truly hating her because she's poor, how come they are only hating her??? Shouldn't there be MORE poor people than rich ones? Where is the rest of the lower class and why is she not attending a lower class school???

There better be more than this, probably something like she killed the other girl's sister.

Every time I see this, I´m amazed how bad the art actually looks. That being said, the story turns out interesting, I´ll keep watching for sure

Ok...Isn't it a little bit extreme to burn a house just because you are commoners?

Hinata's words of "I must never tanish the name of Hinata Kugura", had made me curious.

Later in the episode we learn that she had a younger sister, I wonder if Hinata was in fact, Hotaru, but because of some messed up reason in this messed up villiage, her grandfather wants her to replace her sister...?
