Rosario + Vampire 02

Rosario + Vampire

Stereotypical development isn’t it?

Cup noodle anime of the season? You betcha.

New character, Kurumu Kurono, is introduced and being a succubus, she uses her powers to drive a rift between Moka and Tsukune, intending to seduce Tsukune for herself. Moka is alerted to this fact by her other side, and comes to his rescue.

The situation escalates in a fight, and Vampire Moka is unleashed, defeating Kurono is merely 69 seconds, according to the commenter bat. Vampire Moka intends to strip her wings and tail off, but Tsukune stops her and she relents, reverting back to Moka. This causes Kurono to really fall in love with Tsukune and a love triangle is born.

Rosario + Vampire

Vampire Moka is win.

Maa~ new character Kurono is definitely of the flirting archetype, and I guess she fills the role in quite well for now. Of course, the main attraction of this show for me is still Vampire Moka, and damn, she is fucking awesome. Now if Gonzo would really stop doing that henshin thing so much when she reverts to it…

Also, the official OP and ED are finally aired and both the songs are Nana-chan’s ones. Both are her usual styles and I’m finding them both good, but nothing exceptional. Still, I will definitely get the singles.

I like how Moka’s bust increase by a size or two when she changes into her True Ancestor form :)

Yeah it really is the perfect replacement to last season’s Goshuushou-sama Ninomiya-kun, heck we already got succubus . But thats fine because I enjoyed Ninomiya-kun and I’m rather sure I’ll enjoy this show as well.

Xellos: The manga does improve, especially once they move beyond just the harem parts, and actually add a little drama. It’s more entertaining than Negima’s been the past… oh… four, five volumes? Maybe six? At least the manga has an end, so they draw the story to a close instead of going on forever-and-ever-and-ever with a festival arc stretched out into infinity. Still, I’m giving the anime a pass.

The first episode kinda pissed me off, seeing Vampire Moka so easily falling in love with Tsukune. Also, Tsukune looks a LOT like Makoto of School Days, so hating him comes naturally.

Well, to be fair to Tsukune, he does act rather manly, and does try to stand up against his opponents, although mostly when they are seen threatening Moka.

At the least, he’s not gonna be a skirt-chaser, I hope.

Wow, that face on the blue-haired-girl is so horribly drawn. I may have to drop this.

    *Possible Spoiler*
Nah, Gin-sempai professionally plays that role. Shall I say “yosou doori”.

Kuro: He won’t be a skirt chaser in the manga. They’ve already neutered him here, so Gonzo may very well make him into Makoto 2. :P If anything, he doesn’t really want the harem, and likes Moka while being friendly (not Makoto-style) with the other girls.

Given one of them is an eleven-year-old witch, this is a good thing.

enjoyed this one a lot more than the first episode… blatant squishing of breasts is apparently a lot more enjoyable than blatant white panties!

oh, but what’s up with the random bat censorship of panties throughout the OP?? that seems so weird given the content of the show itself >

Hillarious episode I must said, with those two all over Tsukune-kun.

We don’t have a main plot, not that matters, but I guess someting would happen to Tsukune.
