my issue with the new season is the badly rendered guns.

thats 1 reason less to watch it. i just hope claes and hanazawa kana is enough of a reason.

As for the new crop of seiyuu.. my main beef is Henrietta still. They hired a total newbie to voice her, and it kinda shows.

Anyway, I totally agree with you on the art side of things. I compared a bunch of side by side screenshots, and it’s just a night and day difference in quality. On the other hand, I do like the new crop of seiyuu so far, especially Mizuno Risa as Claes.

Look like the show has been impacted by censorship as well (note that they omitted bullet entries from many gunshot scenes.)

Oh well, I’ll wait til I see their treatment of Pinocchio (which should be next week) to make up my mind.
