@Chumara: Never did find the animation style really off, but I’ll admit Isako looks like a monkey from certain angles. Otherwise, it’s pretty good. They’re probably targeting the children audience as well, so the art was done appropriately.

Great series with a very unique plot and setting.
When this was first recommended to me it was at episode 2, and with the subs not coming out very fast it was somewhat difficult for me to follow but, in the end I’m glad I stuck with it, really well done.
I’ll quote what someone told me about their opinion on the show, “I would like the girls in my anime to actually look like girls”, its true the animation style of the show was really hard to get used to but everything else about the show easily made up for it.

Ooo. I love that anime. Took me 2 days to watch it ,too! ^__^
I fell in love with the couplle Yasako/Isako. Isako is my fav. character.
She sort of reminds me of Miki-chan in Cutie Honey The Live. But less bashful, and harsh. n___n

I’m so glad you watched Dennou Coil. It’s really good anime.
