That episode with the beards had me laughing so hard at the beginning but when it turned to interplanetary nuclear war I laughed at first but when it was driven home about the sheer stupidity of it - I felt despair and sadness. For me this episode was probably the second best episode overall I saw this year (with Gurren Lagann #26 being the best). My sister and I just finished watching Dennou Coil, I feel bad about waiting so long to catch this series.

Not only was I laughing when they were trying so hard to intercept the missiles, I was also jealous of them for being able to play God, no matter how much of an epic failure they became.
