Christmas episode. I must say the laughs are rather lacking this episode, though there were still some awesome moments such as Chiaki meeting Fujioka Santa and how Touma’s brothers are so useless. No wonder she turned out to be like that XD.
Also LOL at poor Fujioka for being unable to give Kana his present of twin ribbons…. they don’t match her anyways.
And that was definitely “Kimochiwarui” Hosaka in that TV shot of the Fundoshi Santa event. Definitely
Don’t ask me how I managed to actually follow this to the end. Last episode was pretty fucked up already, and this episode… well, painfully tries to salvage something back, but fails generally.
All I can say that was okay with the series was Kagura-chan (<3!!!) and Hyaweh X Priecia’s developing relationship, which had some good moments, although interspersed with an equal number of bad ones. At least the ending reveals a reason why Priecia is so emo at times towards Hyaweh…
Ah well… at least it manage to pique my interest enough to follow it to the end. This series deserves a way better studio and more airtime for the story.
Happy ending all round, yay for Rika and gang for managing to alter fate.
Still, Higukai manages to end with a bang, with that short sequence of an adult resembling Rika appearing before a young Takano and possibly altering her fate as well. Coupled with the announcement of a 3rd season for Higurashi… looks like the mysteries of Hinamizawa will continue.
One whole episode on the school festival, and Wilhelmina decides to tell Margery about Yuji’s secret, only if she participates in the festival as well.
Predictably, Pheles appears at the end to mess things up, and I really hope the real story will kickstart now. It’s been really a lackluster sequel for Shana up till now.
BTW, awesome eyecatch. I’m surprised they asked Itou Noizi for her drawing in the eyecatch.

They actually released Nemuri no Uta on an album. All freaking 27 seconds of it LOL!!!

Anyways, MOONLIGHT is rather lackluster and honestly to say…. all the duet songs are really dominated by Momoi Halko. LUNAR only versions sound really… “mono”, while I didn’t notice any difference in the SUN versions lol. Also, Lunar’s only single, Tatakai no Uta, was rather disappointing to hear the album version. She was more… EPIC in the TV series :P.
Ah~ so this show finally ends. It’s a bit sad to see it go, but it has been an enjoyable show all round despite the many shortcomings that some people might find with it.
Whoa, so it turns out that Kirihito is a backstabbing bastard, no surprise there, but what makes it really interesting is that he really is Gayzer (or Gaythe, depending on your tastes), Anzelotte’s God and master.
Can’t say I didn’t expect it… but seeing his twisted plan put in to motion was really.. well, enjoyable. Gotta say though, while the execution was interesting, the plot device was a bit cliché, triggering Shymaru’s revival via Elis’s ultimate despair…. everyone knows Elis will regain her hope back and save the day.
That being said… can’t wait for the confrontation between Bell Zephyr and Kirihito/Gayzer next week. I sure hope it’s gonna be an epic end, after all the emotional buildup.
