Lucky Star Re-Mix 002

Lucky Star

Holy shit. JAM Project singing Motteke! Sailor-fuku.

Yes, that JAM Project.
Yes, I’m not joking.
Yes, it’s true.
Yes, I know it’s so wrong, but it’s so right as well.

Anyways, listen to it yourself. It’s actually pretty good, IMHO. Apart from that track and the CD’s cover, the whole album sucks as usual. I take that back, Track 6 is actually pretty awesome.

It’s very catchy and fun to listen to, and at least it’s not sh** like the other remixes.

I like the Lucky Star douga mix, didn’t have a chance to listen to the other remix yet though.

I, for one, thinks that some of those mixes are pretty good :D
Oh and that cover is indeed awesome, I want to see more of Kagamin though =w=b

  10. Haesslich Said,

The cover’s great, but the song… well, there’s too many masculine voices in there for my comfort, at least for a song that talks about wearing sailor skirts…

  11. korosora Said,

    December 26, 2007 @ 6:54 am

as long as i don’t try to imagine all the singers in sailer uniforms, i think i like this….

album art is great. konata :D~

korosora: I was trying not to. Thank you for suggesting the image to damage everyone else, though. ;)

    Seriously… no. Just… no.

    Oh JAM Project… what have they done to you… ;_;

oh well. That was fine though. Sometimes is tiresome to always hear them singing passionate and hot-blooded songs.

Love the album art. I don’t suppose you have it in higher res, Kurogane?

How could you say the rest of the album sucks? o.o!

The last three tracks (4, 5, 6) are totally awesome, moreso track 5 and even moreso track 6. They remix music from the BGM CDs and -also- the individual character song albums. Even Akira and Shiraishi have their songs mixed in it all. It’s totally amazing since I love each of the character song albums, and here is all of it in one remixed piece.

This is way better than the first remix CD, which really is just remixes on Motteke Seerafuku alone. But when you throw in the rest of the Lucky Star soundtrack, it totally wins.

…And I think I just heard some Cheetah Men in track 5 as I’m writing this comment.

So now the Futae no Kiwami thing has gotten into Lantis too?
FYI, there has been a couple of Futae no Kiwami parody videos (from Rurouni Kenshin – English dub) going on for the last one or two months at Nico Nico Douga.
And, they poked fun at the (weird) sounding English dub of the clip, which probably explains the meteoric(?) rise in popularity. Search for it if you like (and be tickled by the funny(?) comments left by viewers as you watch the video).

Ostensibly, the marketing team of Lantis has been scouting around in various otaku sites, Nico Nico Douga included.

(P.S. Futae no Kiwami is the attack by the fist by Sanosuke Sagara, a character in Rurouni Kenshin)

@Crisu: Alright, I concede the rest aren’t too bad, and Track 6 is pretty nice.

@Fat Cat Lim: Get it from your nearest friendly music release group. The scans should be included.

@Those-who-commented-on-the-cover: Thank god it wasn’t Kagamin on the cover, I’d buy the CD. Immediately.

  23. Crisu Said,

I tried parsing all 15 minutes of the song but came up short on some of the BGM interludes. They sound familiar, though, so I wonder if there will still be some more BGM and Radio Bangumis that will include these tracks.

@Those-who-commented-on-the-cover: I tried to vector the cover, the link can be seen via the link (shameless plug ^^)

@Kurogane: Kagamin is lovely~ I too wanted some more pictures of the group in the scans, but only the cover :

And I Tried Recognizing All The Songs And BGMs, And Im Proud To Say I Know Them All Mwuahahahahaha

  26. burnfist23 Said,

I’ve seen some of RK dub parodies lately. I recently saw one that parodied the School Days ending and Saitoh’s “Makoto Shishio, your head belongs to me!” line. Man, Japan must love poking at RK’s dub. Wasn’t the best dub and it annoyed me a lot,but it did have it’s moments, particularly in the outtakes and Shishio’s VA.

And yes, I would surely choose re-mix 002 over re-mix 001. I was hoping for a bit more art, like the extra pic of Kagami and Tsukasa in re-mix 001, but the tracks are clearly better and at least with some of the tracks, they did more than just remix Motteke! Sailor-fuku for seven straight tracks. Though I’m never tired of the Lucky Star girls singing the theme, it was kind of interesting hearing JAM Project. Plus, Kumikyouko “Lucky Star Douga” was worth it.

OMG, Lucky Star Douga was worth it by itself ~_~
I love all the character singles so this is like the perfect way to cram most if not all of the singles into my ipod without overloading~
Im wanting ” Youre my gravity” so badly rite now -_-
the only thing tht kinda upset me was thy didnt remix kagamin’s
“100% Nai Nai Nai” and Hiyori’s ” Default Joshikousei Nyan”…

I agree, Konata is amazingly hawt here. I’d buy this for both the fact that I don’t know Japanese (and pretend like I’ve never read the theme song subs…. ever) and that I’ve stared at this cover for far too long. x_X
The music… isn’t bad. I like the beat, and I can’t understand what they’re saying, so it’s all good. ^_^ *Searches for MP3 downloads*

    This is wrong on so many levels xD *faves* Just so I torture everybody else’s poor brains/ears with this….monstrocity. I mean, what else should I call it? It was already pretty dangerous xD;;

On another note, Konata looks awesome on this cover :

I’m sorry for Aya Hirano. She did such a good job with this music… But,thank god, they did it! Made shit from a especially good music…
I was a bit surprised: where are the cute voices? =P
Well, I never listened to a remix, so I’ll start finding some, for compare… Anyway, the album’s art is great! ^__^’
