The Golden Compass movie was really butchered, they removed the last 3 chapters, and then proceeded to remove tons more stuff from the rest of the chapters. Golden Compass probably would have did better as a TV miniseries, getting like 5 or 6 two hour episodes.

I suggest everyone buy the audio book from audible.com (or amazon). It has a full cast, full music, etc. Its like the radio dramas of old. Its really good. Golden Compass is a 13+ hour audio book. The other two books are equally awesome (though i like the last two better than golden compass…)

I thought so too, but in this context it’s referring to the collapsed n dimensions that are the basis of the superstring theory.

Basically, superstring theory posits that the world is actually made of 10, 11 or 23 dimensions (the three main theories), but since we can only perceive 4 dimensions (length, height, width and time), the additional dimensions are “collapsed” or “hidden” from us.

Well, in another way, you can say the world of the garbage doll and the girl is also another “Hidden” world as well.

Interestingly, I’d like to add, I started to learn about Superstring theory from Ah! My Goddess.

Interesting theory, I’ll check it out to be a little informed. Anyway, a few things about Kotomi are clear now. Her parents are dead (or dissapear), then she try to close herself fro meveyone else until Tomoya came back to her life. Damn it, two weeks of no-Clannad; I don’t know if my mind will handle it.

I’ve been smirking on other blogs that Fuuko is just abusing her ghost powers now by appearing whenever she so decides. ^^; I love every time she does appear, but I’m sure some Kami-sama is like “Fuuko… that’s not why I granted you a miracle.”

Kotomi has become tremendously more human .. and one of those ‘beware the quiet, thoughtful type’ geniuses. But I’m glad she has friends now to protect her when things appear to start breaking down.

“It bends here.” “They fall off.” Is that a pun? ^^; I can’t tell why it’s funny. But a doubled-over Kotomi in laughter really shows off her nice figure.

Kyou said that if anything happened to Ryou, she’d know it immediately. Is that just a twin thing?
