I agree with ryvrdrgn14 ... I've been really disappointed by the second season because the story just dragging on ... it's a completely different anime from first season (the clueless guy + 100 girls theme gets boring after a while). Well anyway, last 2 episodes have been better so I'm watching again.

Gah, I don't know. Ever since episode 5 I didn't feel like watching the show much anymore. Even now when I read the comments and summaries about the episodes it still feels so slow.

It's not so much what's going, but more like the pace and tone is much different from the first season or at least the emphasis was placed in a different part of the story from before. I didn't mind 2-3 episodes of that, but it seems like it's taking up 25% of the second season.

How should I put it... I feel like the entire Shakugan no Shana cast accidentally swapped scripts with Da Capo II without knowing that those are the wrong scripts. o_o

I'll just look forward to Virtue blowing up moar stuff in Gundam 00 to ease my pain. T_T

Kantarou is voiced by Fujiawara Keiji (Maes Hughes in FMA, Aizawa the Afro detective in Death Note, Hanamoto Shuuji in Honey & Clover). An excellent choice, as Fujiwara tends to do those characters who are laidback in appearance, but can be very mature when push comes to shove, which is what Kantarou is.

The choosing of Fujiwara as Kantarou was probably the only good thing JC STAFF did right today, as the animation this week was just bollocks. If it weren't for Kantarou and Wilhelmina, I think I would've skipped this episode.

Speaking of Wilhelmina, for the first time, she showed her insecure side, when Khamshin (whom we haven't seen for a long time) reveals this Pheles is out to get the Reiji Maigo, disturbing Wilhelmina greatly. Man, she can melt people's hearts with such a face.
