Anyways, I forgot to mention that the blood in Ep03 was still red. But at that time, the Axe-kun/-tan and whatever there was already occured. So basicly, they should have already changed the blood to black back then, because this way, it doesn’t seem to make sense unless it really will turn out to be splatter (my brother hopes so for the last two or three weeks…)

Putting that aside: I think there was a real reason for that anonymous letter to be sent in; because, there was this little where Syuu’s and Syuri’s new mother is drinking with some collegue from job and afterwards, is going to a love hotel with said collegue. This collegue strongly resembles Syuu and, if I heard correctly, even the same voice actor was used for this person.
So, if someone sees this person going into a love hotel, he can be mistaken as Syuu. As for Syuri, you may mistake her because it was late at night and dark or whatever…

@Mike: I read a book about far-east countries and in this book, it was said that Japan’s love hotels barely have and need any workers. You can see a picture of each room and pick the one you like (so you don’t need to order). And afterwards, you pay to a machine which calculate the costs from the time spent in the room…
So, there can hardly be any proof of them going into the love hotel.

Lastly: Normally, if someone attempted to murder someone, he or she is being arrested for attempted murder and if not, then he or she will be strongly watched from that moment on.
I don’t expect Kaji-san to appear again.
