It went kinda obvious when Shungo was knocked out that it was just a prank, even the “blood” made the whole thing obvious :(

To bad, but yes, I enjoyed the episode, most thanks to Mayu and her handywork :)

Ironically, I dropped BLUE DROP after episode 02. I’ll probably wait for that show to finish then pick it up. Till then, my personal favourite performance for Miyuki Sawashiro this season is definitely Reika.

@hashihime: Yeah, I didn’t really expect to like Ninomiya to this level, given it’s very much a love comedy harem show. Truly, what sets this show apart are the awesome performances of Mai Kadowaki, who makes some of the most moe-inducing squeals and voice, and Miyuki Sawashiro, totally in her element with the ojou-sama voice.

“…Mayu’s dojikko and tennen is so high, it’s a lethal weapon…” Quoted for truth. That was a wonderful sequence. I was laughing out loud. I suppose this is a very ordinary anime, but there is enough different and interesting about it to keep me watching. And I think some of the performances are really good. Sawashiro Miyuki, of course, but also Kadowaki Maii. This is the best she’s ever done, in my opinion. And since I’ve always liked her, I’m hopeful it will give a further stimulus to her career. I also like Miyata Kouki (Arthur Jones in Emma, Isami in Noein) as Housaka.

I enjoyed this one too - Reika in “vengeance” mode is definitely endearing. I’m liking her more and more, although admittedly some of that is probably due to Miyuki Sawashiro. Most of it, actually. Not being a fan of visual fanservice (don’t ask me how I ended up watching this show…), it’s actually kinda fun to minimise the screen and just listen to the vocal performances, as if it were an audio drama. Works surprisingly well. It’s also great fun to compare Reika with my favourite other Miyuki Sawashiro role this season - Hagino in Blue Drop. The two ojou-sama extremes. :)

Oh, and I know it’s just a typo, but it made me giggle - you might want to double check the paragraph after the “demon” picture. I’m pretty sure Reika and Mayu didn’t end up at a conveniently located island Starbucks… ;)
