I don’t like Rika. She’s not even a good loli type.
My definition of moe – hot!! hot!! flaming hot!! burning!!
at least that’s what moe means literally.
that’s why tsundere character fit perfectly.
We gaijins f**k it up.

Wow Rika won, gratz Rika, tho i wanted Nagi to win, even better, Kagami or Tsukasa….

Oh well this years SaiMoe gave me more tension than what the other years did so im happy^^ Now to pick 2008’s shooting stars XD

Yeah, Rika is not that bad as a champion. I like to think that the outcome of this saimoe has been hilarious because:

#1. While Japan’s vote ratio clearly made Nagi winner, it was the foreign votes that tipped the balance in Rika’s favor.

#2. With a combination of luck and low profile from her fans, Rika slipped under a lot of people’s radar. She did not gained that much hate, unlike L*S characters or RM faction (the former gained too much attention after Mad Dog’s antics (to name one reason), the latter gained lot of hate after Desu and a well-known place of internet). Everyone were too busy tactical, hate and revenge vote their asses off.

But last, not least, I have felt a lot of passion from Rika fans in the final, Nagi fans’ efforts are also comparable but in the end, it was Rika’s that paid off.

にぱー(nipaa) is one of 擬態語(gitaigo) of “smile” like にこにこ (nico nico),にやにや(niyaniya),にかっ(nika),にんまり(ninmari),けらけら(kerakera)etc.

These have different shades of meaning.

Well I never participated in this Saiome. But I enjoy the fact that Rika won nontheless (I can’t really stand Nagi, which is surprising because I love Tsundere characters often).

Just want to say thanks to Kurogane for covering Seimoe so awesomely this year. Otherwise I’d have to lurk 4chan to find out who won every day ;_;

Still mad that Kagami lost though… Oh well, I hope we get a Lucky Star S2 so they can compete in next years Seimoe!
