“The elder sister’s a gorilla and the younger sister’s a hamsterrrr…..”

Cruisin’ full speed down Fuko’s path now. KyoAni sure isn’t wasting episodes anymore. Well, it’s not as if they had any to waste around anyways.

Well, okay, I admit I’m not a fan of Fuko, and much less with the way KyoAni is speeding things up, I haven’t had the time to develop an emotional attachment to her at all, so I can’t really emphatize with her story at all. Add to the fact that she’s another “Astral Projection”, which I’ve never really had a liking of, maaa~~~

Well, that being said, have some Ryou. I really loved how she went along with Tomoya’s prank that easily, this episode. I am starting to like her, a lot. In terms of moe level, she’s on par with her sister right now. Fujibayashi twins for the love!

Ryou, yessss, and she’s a fortune teller, lol. Her and Tsukasa’s need to compete in cell-phoning abilities.

I just have to wait later for the subs to come out hehe. I gotta say the Fujibayashi Twins reminds me A LOT of the Hiiragi twins from Lucky Star.

Actually, I don’t think they resemble the Hiiragi twins that much, even if they’re both of the same moe phenotype. The Fujibayashi twins are definitely in their own league, and while, yes, a lot of physical similarities exist, I just can’t think of them being the same.

The Fujibayashi twins predate the Hiiragi twins, please bear in mind. Clannad was released in January 2004, though production went as early as 2001-2002, just after AIR was released. Lucky Star didn’t begin serializing until Autumn 2004.

Anyway, Ryou-chan is still the win. Despite the differences. Trivia: She’s voiced by Kanda Akemi, AKA Asuna in Negima.

Fuuko is really in Konata mood this episode, going >o0

I don’t follow the “mastered” RPG thing. Did Fuuko gain a level by switching the identities of three people, or did Tomoya gain a level by successfully confusing Fuuko three times?

That whole thing was a few seconds too long, too, IMO. Took away from the visual-novel-ness of the series and was too much of a stretch for funny. The ‘Chain Combo’ part was more brief, and I enjoy the combo counter, as it just counts along with the action, not freeze-framing things.

LOL Fuuko, FTW! Her antics have been definitely my high points this season, the rest being provided by the rest of Clannad’s amazing cast. The self-gag reference to KeyAni’s “spirit girls in a coma” fetish was really great. And the class with Kazami-sense…..I mean, Sanae-sensei, was awesome. Onee-chan is truly win in any role she gets. LOL at the RPG reference; that had me ROFLOL. I haven’t played Clannad (probably won’t) so I’ll have to rely on you, Kurogane, to keep us posted when KeyAni is lagging on the adaptation. Hopefully they can stretch the episodes as needed (irregular episode anime, not the 26, 52 normal format, has been kinda popular recently, so I’ll try to imagine that the producers would prefer quality over quantity.

KeyAni has really killed most anime for me, what with their constant masterpiece output and great animation, they are setting the bar too high for the rest of the pack. Seriously, name me a BAD, not slightly lagging or (God forbid :P) incomplete or lacking adaption, but a really BAD anime from them lately.

With the slow Ninomiya-kun and staggeringly sloooow Shana Second. Pronouns (Myself;Yourself) is probably the other show aside from Clannad that keeps my interest high in this season (hurry up Shana!!).
