Finally! An issue that has not more than 3 Nanoha StrikerS posters! About damn time you cut down on them and start to focus on other shows as well, my dear Megami.

Highlights this month for me:

• Nanaka!!!
• Demon Belldandy is fucking hawt.
• Lucky Star version of that infamous bunny girl Suzumiya Haruhi poster.
• Prism Ark
• Kanokon, whatever that is.

Man, this song and Furefurepponpon! are too damn addictive >.<. I think I’ve racked up like a 100 repeats for Yubikiri and 150 for Furefurepponpon! already.

Anyways, here’s the lyrics to Yubikiri as well, which is kinda nice after you get used to it. I still love the chorus part of Yubikiri a lot, the lyrics for it are pretty meaningful :). Credits goes 100% to geister.

The allure of open navel dresses are not to be underestimated.

Oh wow. I’m glad I stuck with this show. Bell Zephyr’s design is so damn win. The black dress and red ribbons make a fine combo.

Now I wish I could get the scans of that Night Wizard guidebook categorizing all the Demon Lords by moe attributes.

Also, Akari doesn’t really cut some slack towards Renji, eh. She just shot straight at him and Bell Zephyr just like that, especially with that expressionless face of hers, lol.

Seriously, addictive song. I’ve listened to it at least 40 times already since yesterday >.<

A friend of mine, geister, takes all the credits for doing the transliteration of the song. I only did some QC checks and arranged the lyrics according to the original sheet.

That being said, this song was surprisingly pretty long on the lyrics. I kinda tried to translate it as well, but there’s quite a number of words that are hard to translate properly to English, so I scrapped the idea in the end.

I feel disappointed. Can’t figure out what the producers want of the show. It’s going from serious to funny to serious again.

The first half has Nanaka, regaining a piece of memory on the day of the fire, and she accidently over hears a suspicious conversation between her aunt and uncle regarding her condition. Seems like Nanaka’s uncle is being very dodgy on the issue.

After the mid-point break, with a real eyecatch finally, Aoi invites the whole gang + Hinako to the amusement park, because her father got 6 free tickets. The show takes the 180° turn, and we see the whole gang having fun, mostly Aoi actually. Remember the spa episode? Along the way, they also manage to bump in to Hoshino-san, who’s there along with a relative’s kid, and they join up together.

Having done a full day’s worth of fun, the last item on the agenda is the ferris wheel, and again the show takes the 180° turn. Nanaka and Sana are intentionally given some time together, and Nanaka takes the chance to apologize. Sana accepts and furthermore, proclaims that he’ll be with her forever for now. On another ferris wheel carriage, Syuu and Syuuri are sharing one together as well, and Syuu finally tells Syuuri not to force herself further, leading to an outburst of tears from her, which is spotted by Hoshino-san, making a grave face when seeing so.

So, well yeah, I have no idea what the show wants or is trying to be for now. I’d be pleased if they could just concentrate mainly on the serious parts for now, since it’s already the 9th episode. Aside from the last part, the amusement park trip was just well, out of place, especially the Animeranger portion. Kinda lol’ed at Norio Wakamoto’s cameo role in it though.

Well, next up seems to be more development on the Wakatsuki twins part. I just hope they’ll not make that episode like this one…

• BAMBOO BLADE (09) – Going horribly off-tangent somewhat.
• Kaiji (08) – Kaiji is such a noob.
• NIGHT WIZARD (08) – I don’t know why I’m still watching. Now I know why I’m still watching.
• Myself;Yourself (08) – Another show this season that’s going horribly off-tangent.
• DRAGONAUT (06) – Daisuke Ono is not made to voice lameass characters like Jin.
• Goshuushou-sama Ninomiya-kun (08) – If you’ve been wasting time on reading my blog, no need for me to add anything else.
• CLANNAD (08) – Not as emotionally impacting as Kanon 2k6.
• Shakugan no Shana (08) – Uh, is this season full of anime that are going off-tangent?
• Shugo Chara (05) – Dropped it when it went down the generic mahou shoujo road.
• Gundam 00 (08) – Honestly, I don’t know where is this show going, it’s really messed up now.
• ef ~a tale of memories~ (07) – The second SHAFT show I actually like after Sayonara Zetsubou Sensei. Thank god they limited their touches to the visual components, not the story ones.
• Kimikiss (08) – Not too linear, yet not too dramatic; a rightly balanced romance show.
• Rental Magica (08) – Unintentionally hillarious, especially when Itsucki gives out orders like, “Use Fira at 35.38028° to my right” and they actually execute it. Needs more Addie btw..
• Prism Ark (08) – I don’t know why I’m still watching.
• Minami-ke (08) – Slap yourself if you’re not watching this show yet. C’mon!
• Genshiken 2 (07) – Yaoi episode aside, it’s been a pretty good show.

Wow. This episode doesn’t make any fucking sense.

Just because you see someone who looks like a fellow countryman, doesn’t mean you need to go save said person when he’s clearly shooting people on the road.

Just because you are pissed off with someone who hasn’t tasted the suffering of being a child soldier and having their country destroyed, doesn’t mean you need to reveal your real name and position as a Gundam Meister, especially when said information is supposed to top-secret.

Just because you’re flying back from a mission, doesn’t mean you need to show off your uber-powerful mobile suit to the passengers of an airplane.

Seriously, this episode makes no fucking sense. When one thinks that the fanservice was the most sensible part of the episode… you know the show is seriously heading in to troubled waters.
