Da Capo II 05

Da Capo II

Wow, 5 episodes in and it’s still on the Koko path! I’m surprised!

This episode, Yoshiyuki and Koko finally get to spend some quality time together on a date, with a little help from Nanaka and Koko’s friends. They go through the usual date sequence; watching movies, eating lunch, window shopping and hang around at the popular date spots and they finally start to hold hands together. This is like, what, half base? Looks like first base is still gonna be a long way ahead. Sigh…

What else can I say? Those two are really slow at love relationships naturally. Well, I guess it’s mainly because they have been friends for such a long time, it takes time to close the subsequent gap between them that’s formed. But still, I am finding myself rooting for the Koko end now… because Koko really is a good girl and a perfect wife material, mainly thanks to the short scene of her calming down a boy who lost his mother.

But still… will they truly stick to the Koko end? If so, man, the dorama later will probably and had better be pretty frickin’ awesome, else I want my time back :P. It would help too if there’s more Nanaka as well :).

Da Capo II

Obligatory Nanaka screencap of the episode.

girls like Koko tend to evolve into Yandere

because just like how nice guys finish last, having only “nice” on your dating resume never makes for an interesting person

My patience is wearing thin with this series. It was interesting that there were many subtle parodies in this episode. That Nanaka-hat scene reminds me of SOLA

Yume needs to act in the next two episodes, if we’re having the same plot here. Well, since episode one this series has changed from the original.

I think it will be most likely a Koko-Ending, since she is on the cover of the OP single, while Otome is just on the cover of the ED single. Though I don’t know the game and thus don’t know of any plot/timeline of the game. But it seems that they haven’t mentioned the magic up till now; and since the series is supposed to have just 13 Eps, they’d have to rush things with the whole magic things…or so I would say…

say, Kur0, are you watching the raws, or the Chinese subs? All your screenshots that I’ve seen thus far are blurry, just like those .rmvb encoded Chinese susb that I’ve been watching thus far.

Does the original raws really look so shitty in the first place?

I’m watching raws. Somehow, all the raws are blurry, no idea why.
